I’ve got a fresh pick-your-preferred-spelling post for us today, inspired by the many, many girls I have met with this name! The tricky thing is, I’ve never met the same spelling twice! I’ve got a cousin Hayley, and throughout high school I had classmates Hailey, Haley, and Hali. And of course, there’s Halley’s Comet, the actress Hailee Steinfeld, the actress Haylie Duff, a vaguely public-figure in the US named Hailie something… all pronounced the exact same way: “HAY-lee”. And golly, it’s a lot!

So, my question is…
What is your favorite way to spell this name!?

[name_u]Haley[/name_u] and [name_f]Hallie[/name_f] are the most intuitive spellings to me!

my favourite is haley but my daughters middle name is hallie!

[name_u]Haley[/name_u] is my favourite (I’m biased, it’s been a decent name over the last 26-27 years), followed by [name_f]Hayleigh[/name_f], which was coincidentally also my parents’ second choice spelling wise for me.
