Howdy!
We are having a baby in 15 weeks if it’s a boy we are calling it [name]Jedidiah[/name], or [name]Jedediah[/name], or [name]Jedadiah[/name]?
I just can’t not decide which is the best spelling! Middle name is [name]George[/name].
Is there a right spelling?
Which one looks best?
I’d appreciate your opinions

I was going to say [name]Jedediah[/name] initially … but the more I look at it, the more I’m loving [name]Jedidiah[/name] <3
I prefer [name]Jedidiah[/name]. I had a friend with this spelling in college, and his nn was [name]Jedi[/name]. I thought it was awesome 
I believe it’s spelled [name]Jedidiah[/name] in the Bible, so that’s what I would vote for. I don’t dislike [name]Jedediah[/name]. [name]Jedadiah[/name] is the only one that looks really off to me.
If I were to just write the name w/o knowing the spelling…I’d spell it [name]Jedidiah[/name].

I keep freaking out that I’m going to chose a name I love and bubba is going to grow up hating it, so I have become a bit obsessive. Thank you!

The correct spelling is [name]Jedidiah[/name]. Please use that one :).
This website gives the meaning and correct spelling of [name]Jedidiah[/name], which I think looks the nicest 
[name]Jed[/name] is a great nickname too.
[name]Jedidiah[/name], I wouldn’t call it the original Hebrew spelling (with a J and all) but it’s the most classic English spelling and the one most associated with English translations of the Bible. It’s fairly equivalent to [name]Joseph[/name] in that regard; the most classic translation.
And Yedidyah would be a huge pain in the butt in an English-speaking country.
[name]Jedediah[/name] looks “meh” and [name]Jedadiah[/name] looks “wrong” to me.
[name]Little[/name] [name]Jedidiah[/name] [name]George[/name], NN [name]Jedi[/name] and [name]Jed[/name] is the choice!
