Spelling issue Gray vs Grey.

[name_m]Just[/name_m] wondering which spelling is more pleasing to the eye;

[name_u]Mason[/name_u] [name_u]Grey[/name_u] vs [name_u]Mason[/name_u] [name_u]Gray[/name_u]

Thanks!

[name_u]Grey[/name_u] but only because that’s the way we spell it over here, so it looks correct to me.

I know many love [name_u]Grey[/name_u] but I always think of Goose, as in the liquor. Also love the traditional, in [name_u]America[/name_u], spelling of [name_u]Gray[/name_u]. I think it depends where you’re from. Here in [name_u]America[/name_u], I think it’d mostly be spelling [name_u]Gray[/name_u]. Handsome name - [name_u]Mason[/name_u] [name_u]Gray[/name_u]/[name_u]Grey[/name_u]

I like [name_u]Gray[/name_u] with [name_u]Mason[/name_u]. The two A’s looks more pleasing to the eye to me. [name_m]Both[/name_m] are fine.

[name_u]Gray[/name_u] is a name and [name_u]Grey[/name_u] is a colour where i come from.
[name_f]Love[/name_f] the sound of [name_u]Mason[/name_u] [name_u]Gray[/name_u]!

[name_u]Mason[/name_u] [name_u]Gray[/name_u] is very handsome. I like either spelling but I personally use [name_u]Gray[/name_u] to honor my mom, [name_u]Gay[/name_u].

[name_u]Grey[/name_u] is our middle name choice for our boy name. I personally prefer [name_u]Grey[/name_u].

I’m American and I would pick the E spelling of [name_u]Grey[/name_u] for a name.

I automatically spell it [name_u]Gray[/name_u] so that’s what I would go with.

To the eye, I think [name_u]Mason[/name_u] [name_u]Gray[/name_u] looks better
Because of what a previous poster said with the ‘a’

If you like both spellings and want the one that looks best with [name_u]Mason[/name_u], I’d say [name_u]Gray[/name_u]
If you like one spelling more than the other, go for the one you like. There’s no wrong choice.

Wonderful name!
Best wishes.

[name_m]Both[/name_m] are pleasing to the eye, so I don’t think you can go wrong either way.
If I had to, I’d probably pick [name_u]Mason[/name_u] [name_u]Grey[/name_u] because the other is very similar to [name_f]Macy[/name_f] [name_u]Gray[/name_u]. ([name_m]Even[/name_m] though she is a wonderful singer)

I personally prefer “[name_u]Grey[/name_u]” but I was always told (in the states at least) that [name_u]Grey[/name_u] is the color and [name_u]Gray[/name_u] is the name.

I prefer [name_u]Grey[/name_u], as a color and a name. I am in the U.S., if that makes a difference. [name_u]Grey[/name_u] somehow seems more masculine.

Also, the [name_f]Macy[/name_f] [name_u]Gray[/name_u] connection that someone else pointed out is pretty strong to me.

I prefer [name_u]Grey[/name_u]. My son’s middle name is Greysen.

To me, grey is a color and [name_u]Gray[/name_u] is a name.

[name_u]Gray[/name_u] is the correct spelling of the color in the US.

I can’t say that one is a color and one is a name because both spellings are colors. Go with whichever spelling you prefer. Personally, I’d go with [name_u]Gray[/name_u] because it looks more correct, whereas [name_u]Grey[/name_u] looks like it’s trying too hard.

I personally see [name_u]Gray[/name_u] as more masculine. [name_u]Grey[/name_u] is the spelling I prefer for a color. [name_u]Gray[/name_u] honors a surname in my family, so for that reason I would choose that for personal use.

[name_u]Grey[/name_u] as it looks more correct to me.
