Trying to figure out which is the most popular spelling of the name Raina/Rayna/Reina/Reyna. How would you spell it?
Edited to add, I know Reina means queen in Spanish. I love that connotation, more so that the “rain” sound, but we don’t have any connection to that language or people. Would that influence your choice? It feels a little false for me to use that spelling.

I would spell it Raina
I think [name_f]Raina[/name_f] is the most straightforward, but I have a soft spot for [name_f]Reina[/name_f]!

It’s a cutie nickname that my Grandparents called me all my life, (still do) so it’s pretty special. It’s [name_f]Queen[/name_f] in Spanish.

I’ve only seen as [name_f]Raina[/name_f], and I prefer that spelling.
[name_f]Reina[/name_f] or [name_f]Raina[/name_f] depending on if I wanted royal imagery like reign or nature imagery like rain.

[name_f]Raina[/name_f] for me! I used to read all the [name_f]Raina[/name_f] Telgemeier graphic novels, and I loved her name. Since she spells it that way, it’s my default and favorite. [name_f]Reina[/name_f] is one I also love.
[name_f]Reyna[/name_f] is my favorite, followed by [name_f]Reina[/name_f]. [name_f]My[/name_f] least favorite is [name_f]Rayna[/name_f] (although, that’s the only spelling I’ve ever met in real life)
my sister is raina, i’ve met a reyna, and there’s raina telgemeier, so from my personal experience raina is the more popular spelling
