I agree, I like the [name_f]Talullah[/name_f] spelling. It feels more substantial with the “h” at the end, and I don’t like the word “Tall” in the first syllable. It looks a bit strange without any double ls, though.
I’m probably the only one who prefers [name_f]Talula[/name_f]. ^^
I like [name_f]Talula[/name_f] the most because that’s how [name_f]Tori[/name_f] [name_m]Amos[/name_m] spelled it for the song from her third album ‘Boys for [name_f]Pele[/name_f]’.
I love the song, but not [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] the name, so if future SO insisted I would be fine with it because of the song, as long as it’s spelled the same… It’s a good song!
[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] is the most ‘standard’ spelling I think, and the Native American one. I love it, it’s so fun and pretty and bouncy - I think of the showgirl song, and the character in the [name_m]New[/name_m] [name_m]York[/name_m] episode of Dr. Who. It’s very old-Hollywood glam to me, and I love the [name_f]Maisy[/name_f] Mouse reference too!
I do have a soft spot of [name_f]Talula[/name_f], the non-related Irish name (which I think is an Anglicization of [name_f]Tuilelaith[/name_f] pn twil-ay-lah, but don’t hold me to it ;)) for no other reason than it’s Irish.
