I love [name]Anya[/name]/[name]Anja[/name], but I can’t decide on a spelling! Which spelling do you like best? Does [name]Anya[/name] make more sense so pronunciation is more apparent?
To me it makes little difference. This could be a great place to show your heritage though.
[name]Anja[/name]: Scandinavian, Finnish, Slovene, Croatian, [name]German[/name]
[name]Anya[/name]: Russian
If none of it fits then I’d probably go with [name]Anja[/name] because the y is trendier and I’d prefer that distinction.
I didn’t know [name]Anja[/name] was Croatian, I have a big connection to Croatia, as well as being [name]German[/name]! Thanks!
Given your background, I would use [name]Anja[/name].
I knew a Polish [name]Ania[/name], and I like that, is it an option?
[name]Anja[/name] definitely. I love it.
I prefer [name]Anya[/name].
I prefer [name]Anja[/name], but [name]Anya[/name] might be the easier choice because of the pronunciation/spelling issues.
