Here’s a link for the top 1000 names. [name]Way[/name] too many boys were named [name]Messiah[/name] & way too many girls were named [name]Princess[/name].
I just skimmed through the list & wow. Lots of different spellings for the same sounding names!
Nameberry has their “Top 10” blog up now, with a working link to the SSA.
wayyyy too many spellings of [name]Mackenzie[/name] and [name]Kendall[/name]. I like [name]Mackenzie[/name] but only spelled that way, no capital letters. And I’m tired of [name]Madison[/name] in the top 10. I just noticed [name]Ashtyn[/name] for a girl? [name]Legend[/name] for a boy?
I’m a little shocked that [name]Angelique[/name], one of the names on my long list, was the second highest climber in popularity this year - 247 places! And for once, the boys’ Top 10 got a LOT more shaken up than the girls’!
