So, first of all, I wanna thank everyone who commented on my “Thought’s about [name_f]Neveah[/name_f]” post. My boyfriend read through all the comments and has decided that he doesn’t like [name_f]Neveah[/name_f] anymore. So we’re back to square one. With girls names… and boys!
We have some names that we like but we’re not sure on combos. One of the middle names must be [name_u]Jean[/name_u], after my mom. Big sister is Kaeleigh [name_f]Crystal[/name_f] [name_f]Jayne[/name_f].
The names we have are…
[name_u]Jesse[/name_u] (Our number 1!)
[name_f]Merrilee[/name_f] (Would love this as a middle but it doesn’t have to be.)
[name_f]Desiree[/name_f] (I love [name_f]Desiree[/name_f] [name_f]Merrilee[/name_f] [name_u]Jean[/name_u], but I’m not too sure on the two -ee endings)
Addelyne (I love this spelling, I am open to over suggestion.)
[name_u]Dillon[/name_u] (My BF loves this but I prefer [name_u]Dylan[/name_u])
[name_f]Tawny[/name_f] (I love this but my BF is not in love with it)
So we have names but I was hoping some of you could help me pair them up. It’s looking like if we have a girl, her name will be [name_u]Jesse[/name_u] but I would love some second opinions.
I think [name_f]Desiree[/name_f] [name_f]Merrilee[/name_f] [name_u]Jean[/name_u] fits perfectly with big sister Kaeleigh [name_f]Crystal[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f]. Because the “ee” sounds are pronounced diferently in [name_f]Desiree[/name_f] and [name_f]Merrilee[/name_f] I don’t think that is a problem, but you could also try the more phonetic spelling [name_f]Desirae[/name_f].
[name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_f]Jessamyn[/name_f] [name_u]Jean[/name_u]? I like the nn [name_u]Jesse[/name_u] with the longer form for when you need to make her clean her room! (Ha ha - longer names carry with force a bit better!)
I love [name_f]Desiree[/name_f] and it doesn’t matter if the ending is the same is the middle you choice for that combo. They’re pronounced differently. It is so awesome and flows beautifully.
You could change the spelling to [name_f]Desirae[/name_f] or Merrileigh and that would sort of match her sister in a not so obvious way.
[name_f]Merrilee[/name_f] is lovely, but if big sis is [name_f]Kayleigh[/name_f] the endings might be a bit samey.
I like [name_u]Jesse[/name_u] [name_f]Merrilee[/name_f] [name_u]Jean[/name_u] a lot. I agree about possibly spelling it [name_u]Jessie[/name_u] to avoid people assuming she’s a boy, but that may not bother you! [name_f]Jessamyn[/name_f] is a lovely suggestion too.
Your daughter has such a beautiful name. I love the flow, sounds like poetry!
I’d definitely second the suggestion of [name_f]Jessamyn[/name_f] / [name_f]Jessamine[/name_f] nn [name_u]Jesse[/name_u]. Maybe you’d also like [name_f]Jessica[/name_f] or [name_f]Jasmine[/name_f]? [name_u]Jesse[/name_u] is absolutely fine on its own, but a longer name might match Kaeleigh well.
I don’t think you can go wrong with any of your options- also if you like [name_f]Tawny[/name_f], you might like [name_f]Tansy[/name_f], [name_f]Tamsin[/name_f] or [name_f]Tanya[/name_f]? [name_f]Tamsin[/name_f] [name_u]Jean[/name_u] sounds awesome.
I like [name_u]Jessie[/name_u] [name_f]Merrilee[/name_f] [name_u]Dylan[/name_u] or [name_f]Jessa[/name_f] [name_f]Merrilee[/name_f] [name_u]Dylan[/name_u]
For me [name_u]Jesse[/name_u] has always been a boy’s name - would you consider spelling it [name_u]Jessie[/name_u] to avoid confusion? I adore [name_f]Jessamy[/name_f] and [name_f]Jessamyn[/name_f] as other options. [name_f]Jessa[/name_f], [name_f]Jasmine[/name_f] or [name_f]Jessica[/name_f] are better than [name_u]Jesse[/name_u] too.
I think [name_f]Desiree[/name_f] is lovely and would use [name_f]Desiree[/name_f] [name_f]Merrilee[/name_f] [name_u]Jean[/name_u] as the end sounds are different. The [name_f]Desiree[/name_f] spelling is much nicer than [name_f]Desirae[/name_f].
I prefer the [name_u]Dylan[/name_u] spelling too. [name_f]Tawny[/name_f] is nice. I don’t like Addelyne, though I love [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f].
[name_f]Desiree[/name_f] and [name_u]Dylan[/name_u] are my favourites from your list.
I love [name_f]Merrilee[/name_f] [name_u]Jean[/name_u] and [name_u]Jesse[/name_u] [name_u]Jean[/name_u].
[name_u]Jesse[/name_u] [name_u]Jean[/name_u] sounds like a stage name, which I personally like.
But the name [name_f]Merrilee[/name_f] is just adorable too.
Ahhh…a lover of creative mispellings! Blessings for dumping [name_f]Nevaeh[/name_f]!
[name_u]Jesse[/name_u] and [name_u]Dylan[/name_u] (never [name_u]Dillon[/name_u]) are both boy’s names. Kaeliegh and [name_u]Jessie[/name_u] are samey.
[name_f]Desiree[/name_f] and [name_f]Tawny[/name_f] are very 1980’s.
[name_f]Merrilee[/name_f] is nice but somewhat samey with Kaeleigh.
Is there a reason you are so unnecessarily rude to people on here? I have very seldom ever seen you provide constructive thoughts or ideas to someone you don’t seem to agree with without the use of demeaning language.
[name_f]Desiree[/name_f] [name_f]Merrilee[/name_f] [name_u]Jean[/name_u] is so beautiful. Would you be open to the [name_f]Merrily[/name_f] spelling so the endings aren’t the same? I don’t think it’s a big deal personally, but [name_f]Merrily[/name_f] or Merrilly could be an option
