[name_m]Garrett[/name_m], [name_m]Gerrit[/name_m], or [name_m]Garrit[/name_m]? The family spelling is [name_m]Gerrit[/name_m] and our last name is Dutch. I was thinking if we felt like a nickname was necessary we might be able to get away with [name_m]Bear[/name_m]…? I would hate to hear [name_m]Gare[/name_m]-[name_m]Bear[/name_m], so I thought just [name_m]Bear[/name_m] might work. I don’t really think [name_m]Garrett[/name_m] needs a nickname though. I know we could use Rett, but that’s a little too close to [name_u]Rex[/name_u] for me.
I like [name_m]Garrett[/name_m] spelt that way. And it definitely doesn’t need a nickname but you might get “[name_m]Gare[/name_m]” whether you like it or not…
