Stella is a new name that I’m considering adding to my list. Trying to see what kind of vibe it gives off. What imagery do you get from it? How would you describe it? Thank you! :smile:

Stella to me feels very preppy and stereotypically “girly”, I think of hot pink and glittery gold when I hear it.

[name_f]Stella[/name_f] is starry and fresh to me. I get imagery of a night sky – dark blues and golds and whites. I can picture [name_f]Stella[/name_f] on any personality type – it mainly feels artsy and creative to me, but the Stella’s I’ve known in real life have all been super athletic so it has a sporty vibe to it as well.

I just think of a star filled sky and think [name_f]Stella[/name_f] and [name_f]Luna[/name_f] would be a perfect sibset. It’s fun, short, spunky, with a touch of magic

I, perhaps predictably get celestial vibes from [name_f]Stella[/name_f], which is defs a cool, positive association in my book! I’ve also met a handful of very stylish older ladies named [name_f]Stella[/name_f], so I associate the name with being sleek, self-assured, modest, elegant, unostentatious, poised, quietly confident. Its feminine yet unfrilly, and it’s unadorned sleekness is definitely appealing. I think it transcends any age barriers. I never could fully warm to it for use myself, because it’s cool sleekness left me feeling quite neutral, though I’d defs respond positively to meeting a [name_f]Stella[/name_f] and my associations are nothing but good. However I’ve warmed to it more recently and it’s gone on my list. [name_f]Every[/name_f] [name_f]Stella[/name_f] I’ve ever met has been lovely.

[name_f]Stella[/name_f] feels imaginative with a hint of whimsy. She is a bit soft spoken, but she has many creative ideas and insights about the world. [name_f]Stella[/name_f] is pastel pink and sage green with sparkles. I also associate it with the books about [name_f]Stella[/name_f] and [name_u]Sam[/name_u].

I get a classy, 1920’s, starry picture in my head when I think of [name_f]Stella[/name_f]. Not sure why lol. But I quite like the name!

I’m relatively outgoing and preppy - quite stereotypically girly for sure. I definitely agree with @tallemaja description. :slight_smile:

I love it. It partly gives off the obvious star/celestial imagery, and it partly gives off classic, old Hollywood glamour. It’s such a pretty, underused name.
