Stick with E names or Switch it up?

Our first two children’s names are [name_m]Evander[/name_m] [name_m]Abram[/name_m] and [name_u]Eden[/name_u] Helayna, and we are expecting our third, a son. I am somewhat bored of the E first initial, but some of the names I really like start with E. Also, then if we have a fourth, we would for sure be “stuck” with E names, but with the third I feel like it might be OK to change it up still, but I am not sure what to do. We are using a family name for the second name, as we did with our first two, which is [name_m]Derek[/name_m]. Some of the first names I like are [name_u]Emerson[/name_u], [name_u]Elijah[/name_u], [name_m]Esmond[/name_m], [name_u]Salem[/name_u], [name_u]Beckham[/name_u], and [name_m]Cassius[/name_m].
Any suggestions or ideas are welcome

I think having two or maybe even three kids with the same letter is perfectly fine, but like you said after that you’re either stuck or one kids going to really stick out. I agree it is perfectly fine to switch it up at three, two is a coincidence three is a pattern.

out of you names I like [name_u]Salem[/name_u] and [name_m]Cassius[/name_m] as well as [name_u]Emerson[/name_u] if you go that route

I think another E name would be fine, but if you don’t want to feel stuck, here are some other names to consider:

[name_u]Arlo[/name_u]
[name_u]Archer[/name_u]
[name_u]Ashton[/name_u]
[name_u]Atlas[/name_u]
[name_m]Atticus[/name_m]

If there is a possibility you would have a fourth then I would suggest changing it up.
However in saying that, [name_m]Evander[/name_m] [name_m]Abram[/name_m], [name_u]Eden[/name_u] Helayna and [name_u]Elijah[/name_u] [name_m]Derek[/name_m] sound good together to me.

I like [name_m]Esmond[/name_m] [name_m]Cassius[/name_m]!

It’s my personal preference to stick to a pattern once you’ve started it, so I’d be more pleased with another E name in the set. But, of course, this is really down to what your preference is and which outcome brings you the most joy.

I think if you decide you love an E name, you could go with it, but if there aren’t any you’re feeling super passionate about, I wouldn’t feel tied to it at all

I really like [name_m]Cassius[/name_m] with your set!! [name_m]Caspian[/name_m], [name_m]Magnus[/name_m] and [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] came to mind

I am very much of the opinion that two is a coincidence, three is a pattern. Unless it was your stand out favourite, I would avoid another name beginning with ‘E’ this time around. It frees you up to find a name you love from a much wider pool of names and leaves you open to other options if your have any more children.

I would change it but personally, I prefer a more interesting sibling set rather than a theme as it can feel like too much. I love the suggestion of [name_m]Magnus[/name_m] for you. Others…

It is okay to switch to a different letter after the second one but if you have 3 children with the same letter it is best to keep it.

If you have a fourth you could continue the pattern. For example:
[name_u]Eden[/name_u], [name_m]Evander[/name_m], [name_m]Cassius[/name_m] & [name_m]Cyrus[/name_m]. [name_u]Or[/name_u] something but have it so there could still be a pattern with the letters. And if you decide to have a fifth child you could change the letter again or stay with one of the others.

Personally, I would choose another E name and I love [name_u]Elijah[/name_u] [name_m]Derek[/name_m].

Other E names you might consider….Ev@nder Abr@m, Ed3n Helyn@ and…
