Hey guys! You guys have been so super helpful so far on my other threads but unfortunately we are still undecided on a name.
Looking for something to match the classic style of [name_f]Agatha[/name_f], while still being unique. We want a name that will [name_m]JUST[/name_m] be his (i.e. not where we are going to run into others with his name). Definitely nothing within the top 100 in the USA.
However, we also want the name to be recognizable as a name (nothing made up / crazy spellings, etc).
We love the flow of [name_f]Agatha[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] and call her by her full name frequently. We plan to use [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] as a middle name and would like something with good flow there, too.
I’m going to leave this open-ended for any suggestions since the couple of names we still have on the table aren’t striking us enough to commit to them, anyway.
I think I have suggested [name_m]Victor[/name_m] and [name_u]Maurice[/name_u] before in a different thread, they were at spot 165 and 652 in 2017 in the US respectively. I think [name_m]Victor[/name_m] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] and [name_u]Maurice[/name_u] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] both sound good. Another suggestion I liked from the previous thread is [name_m]Jasper[/name_m] (spot 185 in the US 2017). Other suggestions:
[name_m]Bernard[/name_m] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] (outside top 1000)
[name_m]Bertram[/name_m] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] (outside top 1000)
[name_m]Gerald[/name_m] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] (#824 in 2017)
[name_m]Roger[/name_m] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] (#625 in 2017)
[name_m]Marcus[/name_m] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] (#195 in 2017)
[name_m]Clement[/name_m] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] (outside top 1000)
[name_m]Edwin[/name_m] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] (#332 in 2017)
Thanks for the suggestions! Husband likes [name_m]Marcus[/name_m] and [name_m]Victor[/name_m]. I’m going to try and force myself to consider them even though they aren’t immediately appealing to me.
I forgot to mention earlier, if this baby had been a girl she would have been [name_f]Delia[/name_f] [name_f]Aster[/name_f]. [name_m]Just[/name_m] to give a sense of our style.
[name_f]Agatha[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] is so beautiful!
Since [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] is long I’d stick with an one or two syllable first name.

It’s good to be open minded! That’s how we landed on baby #2s name. It wasn’t one I was initially attracted to but it had all the logical name parameters I wanted in a name. So I sat with it and after a little while I really started loving it. It grew on me each day and it just started feeling right. Whereas the names that burned bright at first seemed to die out pretty quickly for me.
[name_m]Barnaby[/name_m] (I knew a [name_m]Barnaby[/name_m] in college, he was from [name_f]England[/name_f] and was quite handsome and sweet so I have good feelings about this name.)
[name_m]Bertram[/name_m] (so handsome)

My first thought was [name_m]George[/name_m] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m]. I also think [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] would work beautifully with [name_f]Agatha[/name_f].
[name_u]Darby[/name_u]? [name_u]Darby[/name_u] Barrow has the same sort of feel as [name_f]Agatha[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] to me. Vaughan Benetton? [name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_u]Raleigh[/name_u]? [name_u]Raleigh[/name_u] [name_m]Benson[/name_m] sounds storybook. I think maybe [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] does not lend itself to feeling as song-like as [name_f]Agatha[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]. Maybe a variant of [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] instead- [name_m]Benji[/name_m], Beane, etc… Like [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] [name_u]Banjo[/name_u], [name_u]Hollis[/name_u] Beaming, [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] [name_m]Bridger[/name_m], [name_m]Abraham[/name_m] [name_u]Darby[/name_u], (this is the name of a type of rose, actually, but I love it so!), Gilbreth Barley. [name_m]Rutger[/name_m] [name_u]Beau[/name_u] is handsome! Beaumont would be sweet - Beaumont Bennis sounds pretty old-fashioned and storybook - a real gentleman! Good luck!
[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_m]Oscar[/name_m] with [name_f]Agatha[/name_f]. Your girl choices both have a nature component, so maybe that would help something spark?
