Strawberry Moon Name Vibe

Today may be a special day for our family, and I realize it’s the [name_f]Strawberry[/name_f] Full moon :strawberry::full_moon:

[name_m]Can[/name_m] you think of any names that give you similar imagery?

For anyone interested I did some google research on strawberry varieties, especially ones from my area:

Petaluma (would using this name be appropriation? It’s so cute)

[name_m]Chandler[/name_m]

Selva

[name_f]Sequoia[/name_f]

Ozark

[name_m]Albion[/name_m]

Seascape

Alpine

I love the name [name_f]Luna[/name_f] and so does hubby. But it’s sooooo popular now, especially where I live. Our son’s name is not so common so I’m not sure they would sound cohesive.

I loved [name_f]Luna[/name_f] before it became popular!

sequoia is such a beautiful name! I’ve also had seascape and alpine on my middle name list for forever. I also see monterey strawberries advertised on like yogurt and stuff–monterey could be cute! pronounced like the place in california, not like the cheese. a few combo ideas with these names–

girls:
sequoia jane
sequoia may
sequoia sasha
sequoia linden
sequoia daphne
cordelia seascape
adelia seascape
ottilie seascape
rosalie alpine
eugenia alpine
susannah alpine

I had [name_f]Rosenwyn[/name_f] Alpine on my list forever… not sure if [name_f]Rosenwyn[/name_f] is too out there but it has such a sweet sound to me!!

For boys, I think [name_m]Albion[/name_m] could be great as a first, or either Seascape or Alpine could be a great middle!

You could try to reference the strawberry part through an allusion to the color–a name related to rose, for example (rosalie, rosalia, rosalind, rosaline, rosella, etc) or a gem, like ruby. or, probably more for a boy, just a shade of red for a middle, like crimson.

a few ideas related to the moon–
diana
selene
helene
maris
amaris
maybe wolf as a middle for a boy?

beyond that, names that just give similar vibes to a strawberry moon:
agatha
eulalie
coralie
farrah
fern
juliette
river
chance
wendell
remy
joshua

I love the name [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]! It has a horse meaning that fits in with my sons name meaning too and I love the [name_m]Shakespeare[/name_m] vibes, but hubby says no :sob:

I think [name_m]Albion[/name_m] is a wonderful name!

[name_f]Rose[/name_f], [name_f]Rosa[/name_f], [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f], [name_m]Rosen[/name_m] or another [name_f]Rose[/name_f] name of your liking would work great as a nod to strawberry, not only because of the red colour, but especially because strawberries are part of the rose family!

[name_f]Chandra[/name_f] and [name_f]Artemis[/name_f] could work as a connection to the moon. [name_f]Menodora[/name_f] or Menodorus is a beautiful name meaning gift of the moon.
