I love [name]Roman[/name]!! I think it would sound great with [name]Asher[/name] and [name]Logan[/name]. I have always loved the idea of [name]Roman[/name] with [name]Dominic[/name], [name]Maximilian[/name], and [name]Anthony[/name] but I don’t know if any of those would appeal to you?
You could go with an Irish name like [name]Eamon[/name] or [name]Declan[/name]. I don’t hear those nearly as much as I do [name]Logan[/name] and [name]Tristan[/name], but they both feel strong and solid.
Of those posted I like [name]Tristan[/name] and [name]Asher[/name] the most.
[name]Atlas[/name]
[name]Archer[/name]
[name]Angus[/name]
[name]Achilles[/name]
[name]Emmanuel[/name]
[name]Gabriel[/name]
[name]Magnus[/name]
[name]Marius[/name]
[name]Thor[/name]
[name]Odin[/name]
I like [name]Levi[/name] best of those you posted - [name]Asher[/name] also works but sounds softer and I predict will grow “trendy”, despite its Biblical roots.
Here are some other thoughts:
[name]Dashiell[/name] (I believe [name]Cate[/name] Blanchett has sons both [name]Dashiell[/name] and [name]Roman[/name] - so someone else thinks they combine well, but it might seem copycattish to the few people who would recognize it)
[name]Eli[/name]
[name]Gregory[/name]
[name]Jethro[/name]
[name]Joachim[/name]
[name]Joaquin[/name]
[name]Jonas[/name]
[name]Jude[/name]
[name]Leo[/name]
[name]Lorcan[/name]
[name]Lucas[/name]
[name]Oliver[/name]
[name]Rafferty[/name] (if you don’t mind the two R name thing)
[name]Raphael[/name] (if you don’t mind the two R name thing)
[name]Marco[/name] (find this much stronger and more handsome than [name]Marcus[/name] personally)
[name]Seamus[/name]
[name]Silas[/name] (find this so much stronger and more handsome than [name]Cyrus[/name] personally)
[name]Tobias[/name]
[name]Xavier[/name]
Sure there are more! Good luck!
I think [name]Roman[/name] is great, particularly with all the meanings you attach to it. I like [name]Asher[/name] and [name]Cyrus[/name] best (as, it appears, do most voters). I like that [name]Asher[/name] and [name]Cyrus[/name] have different endings from [name]Roman[/name]. I think [name]Tristan[/name] sounds a little feminine next to [name]Roman[/name], and the original lived a sad story; [name]Levi[/name] feels too distinctly Biblical; and [name]IMO[/name] [name]Logan[/name] and [name]Roman[/name] sound VERY similar, but manage to feel awkwardly different (All-American, popular vs. strong, meaningful, unusual). I think [name]Marcus[/name] would work fine, though it sounds a tad dated to me.
But [name]Asher[/name] and [name]Cyrus[/name]–wow!! I love that they both connect to [name]Roman[/name] by working in an R sound. [name]Asher[/name] has this great strength, but gentleness and isn’t so associated with its Biblical namesake as [name]Levi[/name]. I know it’s on the trendy side, but it’s sound so good with [name]Roman[/name] that I wouldn’t mind, haha. And [name]Cyrus[/name] is neat because it ties in the R, has connections with another great empire (the Persians), and sounds a little like [name]Cyprus[/name] (so you could have another place name connection).
I think the stronger sounding names of [name]Cyrus[/name] and [name]Marcus[/name] would be wonderful brothers for [name]Roman[/name]. [name]Tristan[/name] is perhaps the “softest” option followed by [name]Asher[/name] and [name]Levi[/name]. [name]Logan[/name] is too similar in sound to [name]Roman[/name].
I like [name]Cyrus[/name] best, it’s the most unusual of your choices and seems the best fit with [name]Roman[/name]. I really like [name]Asher[/name] but is becoming very popular. [name]Roman[/name] and [name]Logan[/name] paired together is too singsong.
I think the biblical names fit best with [name]Roman[/name]! I love the idea of [name]Roman[/name] & [name]Asher[/name] / [name]Roman[/name] & [name]Levi[/name] =)
[name]Tristan[/name] and [name]Logan[/name] seem very trendy to be paired with [name]Roman[/name], and I don’t like [name]Marcus[/name] and [name]Cyrus[/name].
I voted for [name]Asher[/name] but I also love [name]Levi[/name]…congratulations on your new son…how exciting
I voted for [name]Levi[/name], but had [name]Silas[/name] been up there, I would’ve chosen that.
While I like [name]Tristan[/name] as a name, I don’t think it has the same strength behind it as [name]Roman[/name]. I voted for [name]Marcus[/name] and like that or [name]Cyrus[/name] the best out of your selections. Some other possibilities not listed above:
[name]August[/name]
[name]Malcolm[/name]
[name]Alexander[/name]
[name]Luke[/name]
[name]Conrad[/name]
[name]Xavier[/name]
[name]Grant[/name]
I really like [name]Roman[/name] and I could not find a name on your list that I think matches it as well.
I think a classical name like [name]Sebastian[/name] would make a good fit with [name]Charles[/name] as a middle name symbolising the English heritage.
Combo of [name]Sebastian[/name] [name]Charles[/name].

[name]Just[/name] out of curiosity, what would your girls name be?
Of the list you gave, I think [name]Asher[/name] and [name]Levi[/name] are the only ones that really…fit.
What about…
Aeson
[name]Atticus[/name]
[name]Maximus[/name] ‘[name]Max[/name]’
[name]Nolan[/name]
[name]Josiah[/name] - A very strong sounding name, [name]IMO[/name]. And think of [name]King[/name] [name]Josiah[/name] in the Bible.
