[name_m]Just[/name_m] found out we are having a 3rd boy and am struggling with name options. Our first two sons are [name_m]Abraham[/name_m] and [name_m]Peter[/name_m]. I prefer a biblical name but would ideally like to avoid a super common name. I love that both [name_m]Abraham[/name_m] and [name_m]Peter[/name_m] are classic and well-known, but not overly popular. I am struggling to find another name that fits this pattern! Any suggestions would be welcome!

We just named my first son [name_m]Gideon[/name_m] which fits the criteria you’re looking for - biblical, and classic and known but not popular. Of course I’m a little biased but I love it and we get a lot of compliments on it.

I have considered [name_u]Judah[/name_u]. [name_m]Simon[/name_m] I don’t think I would do because of how closely it relates to [name_m]Peter[/name_m]

I decided to cross check with the social security charts to try and get a feel for where the sweet spot would be for these. Both [name_m]Abraham[/name_m] and [name_m]Peter[/name_m] rest just outside of the top 200 (US stats, so keep that in mind if you live elsewhere) so I first looked through the section of the charts between 200 and 300 looking for biblical names:

Thank you everyone for all of your suggestions! I’m going through and writing down the ones that stick out to me. It’s amazing how many names are not ones you want to use just based on people you know in your life or are closely connected to. Thanks again for all the suggestions.
