I find them both sweet and playful names with very similar vibes. They both evoke happy, fun children! Due to [name_f]Ginny[/name_f] Weasley, I find I imagine a little girl with ginger hair.
[name_f]Bea[/name_f] is my favourite of the two.

I like bright, cheerful, energetic [name_f]Bea[/name_f]! I can see it suiting a wide range of people, whereas [name_f]Ginny[/name_f] feels a bit more typecast to me, I think due to the character.

I love both , and have [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] (Bea) and [name_f]Georgina[/name_f] (Ginny) on our girl list. Both are nods to family members and have a lot of sentiment to me.

No matter the options they are beautiful names so there is no wrong answer.

I think for us personally I would pick [name_f]Bea[/name_f] but generally I love [name_f]Ginny[/name_f] more!

[name_f]Ginny[/name_f] makes me think of [name_u]Harry[/name_u] [name_m]Potter[/name_m]. [name_u]Red[/name_u] hair, freckles, adventurous.
[name_f]Bea[/name_f] makes me think of a little old lady. Pearls, soft spoken, big smile.

I like [name_f]Bea[/name_f] more than [name_f]Ginny[/name_f] because the [name_u]Harry[/name_u] [name_m]Potter[/name_m] vibe is very strong with [name_f]Ginny[/name_f]!

I like [name_f]Bea[/name_f] better - I think it’s more versatile. [name_f]Bea[/name_f] could fit any personality, whereas [name_f]Ginny[/name_f] feels more specific to me. [name_f]Ginny[/name_f] feels cheery and adventurous but not quiet or serious to me, but [name_f]Bea[/name_f] could go either way.

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there.

They’re both super cute. I do prefer them both for nns though. [name_f]Virginia[/name_f] or [name_f]Imogen[/name_f] nn [name_f]Ginny[/name_f] & [name_f]Beatriz[/name_f], [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] or [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] nn [name_f]Bea[/name_f]. But anyway, [name_f]Bea[/name_f] gets the nod for me. I feel like [name_f]Ginny[/name_f] is too close to [name_f]Jenny[/name_f], which just feels too 80s.

[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps.

Both these names remind me of the actress Ginnifer (AKA Ginny!) Goodwin because she played Aunt Bea in the Ramona and Beezus movie! :joy: This is a good think, because Aunt Bea and Ginnifer Goodwin both give me such sweet, happy, and pleasant vibes. Sweet & kind, hopeful & patient. Somebody who’s always got a bit of kid in them, and who doesn’t mind if she goes against the grid! If I had to choose a name between the names, Bea is my favorite, especially as a nickname for Beatrice. :relaxed:

[name_f]Ginny[/name_f]! She is more than just a Weasley. She is bubbly, bright, happy, smart, caring, fun, sweet, she is like warm hugs.

I like both but I prefer [name_f]Ginny[/name_f]. I picture a happy, confident, kind, and giggly girl. I would slightly prefer [name_f]Bea[/name_f] if it was short for [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f].

[name_f]Bea[/name_f] seems more complete. [name_f]Ginny[/name_f] is just a nickname to me.
