Stuck between two names

I don’t see a problem with MRS as initials, and think you should use [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] has a very floral, cottagecore sound to it. However, if you don’t like those inititals, what about [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f], [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] [name_u]Sage[/name_u], or [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f] (or another floral/plant name). I see most of the comments voting for “Zelda Rose”, but I don’t think [name_f]Zelda[/name_f] works well with [name_f]Rose[/name_f], as it has a more hard, flashy sound and kind of overpowers the middle name. I think [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] is over all much more versatile, with more nicknames and sounds more classic.

I really like [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] [name_f]Mary[/name_f], it sounds so elegant and timeless to me. I think there’s also more nn potential for [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] than there is for [name_f]Zelda[/name_f], if that is something that is important to you.

both such beautiful names! my personal favorite is matilda mary, but zelda rose is so good, it’s a tough call. the softness and alliteration of matilda mary is so pretty and satisfying but zelda rose has a spark and a heat to it that i also love!

honestly, i think if you’re comfortable waiting, your best bet is to wait until you meet your baby and see what she feels like! they’re both so different, i’m sure when you see her it’ll be obvious whether she’s a zelda or a matilda. you have two perfect names ready to go; no matter what happens she’ll end up with a beautiful name!
