My partner and I are due to have another babe in [name_f]October[/name_f]. I am already dreading the naming process, as we struggled to agree on a name and really only came up with one at the last moment when our son was born. This little one will have a big brother named [name_m]Otis[/name_m]. Their surname will begin with B and their middle name will be my surname, which starts with M. So names starting with B or M are out for me. Looking for suggestions of any names that seem similar to the following:
My favourites on your list are [name_u]August[/name_u] and [name_u]Ari[/name_u]. [name_u]Arlo[/name_u] and [name_u]Cassidy[/name_u] are a bit different style next to [name_m]Otis[/name_m]. Other suggestions…
I like [name_u]August[/name_u] and I think [name_u]Cassidy[/name_u] could really grow on me if I met someone called it - it’s less expected than [name_u]August[/name_u].
I find [name_u]Arlo[/name_u] takes away from [name_m]Otis[/name_m] instead of complements - they both become a bit cute and overlapping.
[name_u]Ari[/name_u] is cool but just that little too spare for my taste. I want it to be a nickname.
[name_m]How[/name_m] about:
[name_m]Rafferty[/name_m] nn [name_m]Raffy[/name_m]/Raffa
[name_m]Xander[/name_m]
[name_m]Callan[/name_m]
[name_m]Bastian[/name_m]
[name_m]Gideon[/name_m]
[name_m]Conrad[/name_m]
[name_m]Rupert[/name_m]
[name_m]Griffin[/name_m]
[name_u]Love[/name_u] suggested [name_u]Roscoe[/name_u], [name_m]Xavier[/name_m], [name_m]Casper[/name_m] and [name_m]Axel[/name_m].
I think [name_u]Arlo[/name_u] works really well with [name_m]Otis[/name_m]. Other suggestions -
[name_m]Archer[/name_m]
[name_m]Caspian[/name_m]
[name_m]Dover[/name_m]
[name_m]Ezra[/name_m]
[name_m]Eli[/name_m]

[name_u]Jem[/name_u]
[name_u]Luca[/name_u]
[name_m]Leo[/name_m]
[name_m]Leon[/name_m]
(I know you said perhaps not M but I think these really work but I don’t know you’re last name- sorry!)
[name_m]Milo[/name_m]
[name_u]Micah[/name_u]
[name_m]Malachi[/name_m]
[name_u]Nico[/name_u]
[name_m]Ralph[/name_m]
[name_u]River[/name_u]
[name_u]Riley[/name_u]
[name_m]Sean[/name_m]
[name_u]Theo[/name_u]
[name_m]Tobias[/name_m]
[name_u]Toby[/name_u]
[name_m]Xander[/name_m]
I like your whole list. [name_u]Arlo[/name_u] is a favorite of mine but I think the O ending is a bit matchy with the O beginning in [name_m]Otis[/name_m]. I think my favorite is [name_u]Cassidy[/name_u]. If I met a little boy names [name_u]Cassidy[/name_u] at the playground today I would probably melt into a puddle. So adorable and totally unexpected. On a grown man it’s so gentlemanly.

[name_m]Otis[/name_m] is adorable. Here are my thoughts on your list:
[name_u]Arlo[/name_u]-This is perfect with [name_m]Otis[/name_m]. I love it.
[name_u]Ari[/name_u]-Well, this is my sweet kitty’s name. His full name is [name_u]Artemis[/name_u], but I love love love [name_u]Ari[/name_u]. You could do [name_u]Arlo[/name_u] nn [name_u]Ari[/name_u] too.
[name_u]Cassidy[/name_u]-[name_m]Way[/name_m] too common for girls, although [name_m]Cas[/name_m] is cool.
[name_u]August[/name_u]-I love this. [name_m]Otis[/name_m] and [name_m]Augie[/name_m] or [name_m]Otis[/name_m] and [name_u]Gus[/name_u] are darling.
I love [name_u]Arlo[/name_u]! Maybe [name_m]Archer[/name_m] with possible [name_u]Ari[/name_u] or [name_u]Arlo[/name_u] nickname! [name_u]Arlen[/name_u], nn [name_u]Arlo[/name_u]?
Thank you for all the lovely suggestions. I have a hard to please partner who has now said he doesn’t like [name_u]Arlo[/name_u] or [name_u]August[/name_u] - clearly the favourites from the feedback received.
He says he likes the name [name_m]Argyle[/name_m], nickname [name_u]Ari[/name_u].
[name_f]Do[/name_f] you think [name_m]Otis[/name_m] and [name_m]Argyle[/name_m] go together ok?
