I love [name_f]Greta[/name_f] [name_f]Amelie[/name_f]. So very pretty, but [name_f]Amelie[/name_f] [name_f]Greta[/name_f] is beautiful too. Tough choice there, but they’re both lovely!
I prefer [name_f]Amelie[/name_f] as I am yet to find the appeal of [name_f]Greta[/name_f] in comparison to other [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] names like [name_f]Margot[/name_f], [name_f]Marguerite[/name_f], [name_f]Daisy[/name_f], [name_f]Marjorie[/name_f], [name_f]Maggie[/name_f] and even [name_f]Rita[/name_f].
My biggest association with [name_f]Amelie[/name_f] is [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] Tautou’s character which is authentic, curious, smart, whimsical and quirky.
Although I love [name_f]Greta[/name_f] [name_f]Garbo[/name_f], I really don’t love her name…
I think [name_f]Greta[/name_f] [name_f]Amelie[/name_f] flows better, personally! Congratulations on your little girl 
I absolutely love [name_f]Greta[/name_f], and [name_f]Greta[/name_f] [name_f]Amelie[/name_f] flows beautifully. At least in the US, [name_f]Greta[/name_f] is underused and sounds rustic and vintage, while [name_f]Amelie[/name_f] is so similar to overused [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] that it just doesn’t feel fresh.
Also - your English reads as native! So no worries there.

Your English is beautiful! I personally like [name_f]Amelie[/name_f] [name_f]Greta[/name_f] better. [name_f]Amelie[/name_f] has a great film connection, and is such a charming, dynamic name. I think [name_f]Greta[/name_f] as a first name sounds a little dated–it’s hard for me to imagine it on a child, but that may also be because I’m American.

I love both [name_f]Greta[/name_f] and [name_f]Amelie[/name_f], but I’m going to say [name_f]Greta[/name_f] [name_f]Amelie[/name_f], because I’m not a fan of using nicknames or diminutives like [name_f]Greta[/name_f] as a middle name, while [name_f]Amelie[/name_f] is a great middle name.
