Stuck on picking a name

We have a baby girl due in [name]March[/name] and we are stuck. We have one 13 year old daughter named [name]Mackenzie[/name] [name]Leigh[/name]. Being involved in Girl Scouts and my daughter’s school through the years we know a LOT of girls which is making this tougher. It’s the whole association thing. We like different but not unheard of names. I also like to stick to the more traditional spellings of a name. We both tend to gravitate to surnames as first names.

I really like the name [name]Lennox[/name] but can’t seem to sell my husband or anyone else on that name. [name]Alexis[/name] was my back up name for [name]Mackenzie[/name] and was my first go to name for this one. But for some reason now half way through my pregnancy I’m just not liking that name as well.

Neither of us like the older names like [name]Olivia[/name] or [name]Sophia[/name].

We are stuck and looking for suggestions. Our last name is Hawke (silent e). So one syllable names are out they just don’t sound right. Especially one syllable ending in the K sound such as [name]Brooke[/name].

I look forward to seeing what everyone else comes up with,

Hmmm okay, some ideas…

[name]Blair[/name] - I know you said no single syllables but I think [name]Blair[/name] Hawke sounds super cool

Any appeal to you?

Okay, let’s see what we can find for you, [name]Corrie[/name]!

[name]Mackenzie[/name] [name]Leigh[/name] Hawke and …

[name]Adair[/name] Hawke - [name]Addie[/name]? I love [name]Adair[/name]!
[name]Afton[/name] Hawke - [name]Afton[/name] is such a soft, sweet name with immense appeal, I think.
[name]Blair[/name] Hawke - I know it is one syllable, but it works in my opinion.
[name]Carson[/name] Hawke - Typical unisex name.
[name]Delaney[/name] Hawke - A bit more common, but it’s a good fit with [name]Mackenzie[/name]. [name]Laney[/name] could be a nickname!
[name]Ellis[/name] Hawke - [name]Elle[/name] or [name]Ellie[/name], or the more uncommon Lissy, could be nice nicknames for [name]Little[/name] [name]Ellis[/name]…
[name]Harper[/name] Hawke - If you know a lot of girls, chances are you’ve met a [name]Harper[/name], but I still love it!
[name]Lennon[/name] Hawke - I like [name]Lennox[/name], too, but for a boy. [name]Lennon[/name] could be a surname-y compromise, called [name]Leni[/name]?
[name]Padgett[/name] Hawke - Definitely unusual, but there is an actress called [name]Paget[/name] [name]Brewster[/name] (Criminal Minds). Neat!
[name]Quinlan[/name] Hawke - [name]Quinn[/name], of course! You might know one of those, too, but I love [name]Quinn[/name]…
[name]Rowan[/name] Hawke - A little too natural for my taste, with Hawke, but a nice name.
[name]Sawyer[/name] Hawke - Cute and literary! I like this a lot, myself.
