Hi Berries
Help us find a name for our son.
We are a danish American couple and looking for a name that is not super American. More European, Scandinavian.
We like names to be pretty straight forward when it comes to spelling, stylish, soft and more towards sweet spot and uncommon. The meaning also matters a little☺️
Names we like the sound of but either are too common where we live or isn’t the right fit for another reason.
August,-love but very common here
Elliott - same as above
Romy
Eve/Yves - love but to close to our daughters name
Cecil - don’t like the meaning
Leif
Frey
Karlo
Francis
Robin - very common
Abel
Phoenix - spelling a little hard
Oh, love Frey! Too bad it’s unusable. What about something like Tor or Caspar/Kasper (or even Jesper? I guess Jesper is harder in the US but I always love seeing it on the Danish men’s football team!). I’m a huge fan of Tor and Kaspar especially.
A few other ideas:
Andreas/Anders
Bjørn/Bjorn (looks so naked without the accent, but that would be problematic here… last I heard, accents were still not allowed?)
Bo
Finn
Flemming
Gustav (might be a nice alternative to August if you like Gus!)
