So all of a sudden I’m just thinking that [name_f]Sue[/name_f] would be absolutely adorable on a little girl! I think I’d personally use it as a nickname for [name_f]Susannah[/name_f], [name_f]Suzanne[/name_f], or just as a full name. I think [name_f]Sue[/name_f] [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] or [name_f]Sue[/name_f] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] would be a darling combo! What are your thoughts on it? Is it ready (or almost ready) for a comeback?
[name_f]Sue[/name_f] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] is pretty cute!
[name_f]Susannah[/name_f] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] would also be charming
I like it and think it’s cute as a nickname!
I love [name_f]Sue[/name_f], and [name_f]Sue[/name_f] [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] is quite charming.
I can picture a little [name_f]Sue[/name_f] very easily. I think if people met a young [name_f]Sue[/name_f], they would find it quite sweet. It’s a really versatile name. It instantly feels friendly, nostalgic and cozy.
I don’t know. I don’t hate it. I think it could work as a nickname. I personally prefer a longer, formal name to fall back on.
[name_f]Sue[/name_f] just makes me think of a pig. Probably because of the, “Here, Suey!”
I can’t see it, sorry. I feel like nearly all of my friends mums are named [name_f]Sue[/name_f]. It also makes me think of the word sue as in, “so sue me.”
I do however think [name_f]Susannah[/name_f], nn [name_f]Suze[/name_f] would be adorable though.
To me it’s a very [name_u]Baby[/name_u] Boomer-esque name; like the previous poster, so many women of my mum’s generation are named [name_f]Susan[/name_f]/[name_f]Susannah[/name_f]/[name_f]Susie[/name_f]/[name_f]Sue[/name_f] so I find it very hard to imagine on a little girl. It doesn’t quite have the vintage charm for me of other old-fashioned names like [name_f]Violet[/name_f], [name_f]Iris[/name_f], [name_f]Pearl[/name_f], [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] etc. I do love [name_u]Lou[/name_u] though, which isn’t vastly different, and I love [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] and [name_f]Lavender[/name_f]!
I think it could work as a nickname for [name_f]Susannah[/name_f]. [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] is amazing. I think when the Boomer names come back, they will come back big, but in the mean time I would want to provide options. I think [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] does that beautifully.
I like it! It’s surprisingly fresh. I love [name_f]Sue[/name_f] [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] and [name_f]Sue[/name_f] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f]… Maybe [name_f]Sue[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f]?
I have always liked [name_f]Sue[/name_f]/[name_f]Suzy[/name_f] as a nickname for [name_f]Susannah[/name_f]. I’m more partial to long names with nicknames, but I love [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] or [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f]!
[name_f]Susannah[/name_f] nn [name_f]Sue[/name_f]/[name_f]Suse[/name_f]/[name_f]Susie[/name_f] is adorable!
I think of our old CFO when I hear the name “[name_f]Sue[/name_f]” and because of that I think of a more formal, older woman than a little girl. I like the idea of [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] because you could go the route of [name_f]Sue[/name_f] when she is older but [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] is so sweet for a little one. I also like the idea of flipping the names… [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] [name_f]Sue[/name_f] is sweet!!
[name_f]Lavender[/name_f] [name_f]Sue[/name_f] is also adorable
