The story takes place in [name_u]Boston[/name_u], Massachusetts. The Revenant Centurions met through their school for superpowered people. The don’t have any deep relationships and only see each other as work colleagues. The school puts people together to form superhero groups and sends students to already formed groups that have space (hence the big age difference). [name_m]Angus[/name_m] and [name_u]Pax[/name_u] are the newest members. [name_m]Vincent[/name_m] and [name_m]Cleon[/name_m] are the only ones left from the original group. [name_m]Cleon[/name_m] is the team leader.

backstory

Brought together completely by chance, The Paragons reside in [name_u]New[/name_u] [name_u]York[/name_u], [name_u]New[/name_u] [name_u]York[/name_u]. After a peculiar and potentially semi-radioactive incident in the underground of the city, a group of newly gifted individuals found themselves trapped in a subway car with nothing but the startling glow of [name_m]Booker[/name_m] [name_m]Knight[/name_m] to light the space.

One by one, they discovered their gifts. [name_f]Clara[/name_f], a nurse at the nearby hospital found herself burning holes in the plastic where she gripped the subway seats. Dary, who’d been traveling to dinner with his cousin [name_m]Booker[/name_m], grew wide-eyed as he watched his hands morph before him. [name_u]Reggie[/name_u] and [name_f]Lulu[/name_f], girlfriends who were on their way to a concert with their friend [name_u]Quinn[/name_u], watched in horror as said friend ripped the subway pole from it’s place with only their left hand.

“Woah,” [name_f]Lulu[/name_f] heard inside her head but in the voice of [name_u]Reggie[/name_u], who had transported herself from one end of the subway car from the other in the blink of an eye.

As they each discovered their new abilities, they realized that this was an event that would bond them in an undeniable way. That’s not to say that they don’t often find themselves at odds, [name_f]Clara[/name_f], [name_u]Reggie[/name_u], and [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] typically being the voices of reason while the [name_m]Booker[/name_m] and Dary are quick to action. Meanwhile, [name_f]Lulu[/name_f] attempts to keep the peace but ultimately sides with her friend, girlfriend, and [name_f]Clara[/name_f]. Despite it all, The Paragons manage to work through their disagreements to achieve their common goal.
