Surname Crowe

I am not pregnant, yet, just having fun with names!

If anyone’s game, what’s your first and middle girls name choices that flow best with the surname Crowe.

Anything goes - no criteria! Curious what objective people (non-Crowes) come up with. I’d love some fresh ideas.

Thanks!

I don’t really know your style, but I’ll just list some combos…

Thanks for your suggestions!

I like [name]Genevieve[/name] but fear the nickname [name]Gen[/name] or [name]Gennie[/name], which I don’t care for. Maybe a good middle choice?

I have other names I like but wanted some fresh picks to get me out of my box!

Any other suggestions welcome!

Thanks!

I thought I’d mention that a [name]Genevive[/name] could be nickname [name]Evie[/name] or even [name]Vivi[/name].

Sorry for repeats!

Great suggestions. I like [name]Francesca[/name] but not sure if its too Italian sounding with Crowe.

[name]Do[/name] C names work with Crowe? What are people’s thoughts on using the same starting letter for first and last names?

And, is a K first name with a C last name just wrong?

I like [name]Kaia[/name]/[name]Kaya[/name]

[name]Francesca[/name] Crowe is perfectly fine. I think some C names work with Crowe, especially those without the hard C sound. For example, [name]Charlotte[/name] Crowe and [name]Cecilia[/name] Crowe are gorgeous. A longer C name could also work, like [name]Caroline[/name] Crowe. Some people don’t like alliteration, but I personally think it’s really nice. To me, [name]Kaia[/name] Crowe is a little jarring but I’m sure it wouldn’t bother most people. Here are some other suggestions-- sorry for repeats:

[name]Lucy[/name] Crowe
[name]Emmeline[/name] Crowe
[name]Serena[/name] Crowe
[name]Genevieve[/name] Crowe
[name]Juliet[/name] Crowe
[name]Fiona[/name] Crowe
[name]Annabel[/name] Crowe
[name]Louisa[/name] Crowe
[name]Madeleine[/name] Crowe
[name]Sylvia[/name] Crowe

[name]Anna[/name] [name]Sophia[/name] Crowe
[name]Nora[/name] [name]Beth[/name] Crowe

[name]Cassidy[/name] [name]Anastasia[/name] Crowe
[name]Lydia[/name] [name]Maryanne[/name] Crowe
Jessaleigh (???) Crowe

[name]Just[/name] some fun suggestions (names that had a certain quirkiness that I thought could balance well with Crowe):

[name]Jaqueline[/name] [name]Elise[/name] Crowe
[name]Marilyn[/name] [name]Alexandra[/name] Crowe
[name]Bernadette[/name] [name]Evelyn[/name] Crowe
[name]Lorraine[/name] [name]Amelia[/name] Crowe

I think that with the surname Crowe, a longer first name would sound best to balance it out syllable-wise. Here are some errant ideas. I starred the ones I think sound best (sorry for repeats!!)

[name]Adeline[/name] Crowe
[name]Theresa[/name] Crowe
[name]Lydia[/name] Crowe*
[name]Isobel[/name] Crowe
[name]Harriet[/name] Crowe
[name]Annabel[/name] Crowe*
[name]Aurora[/name] Crowe
[name]Matilda[/name] Crowe*
[name]Alexandra[/name] Crowe*
[name]Penelope[/name] Crowe*
[name]Victoria[/name] Crowe
[name]Dominique[/name] Crowe
[name]Daphne[/name] Crowe
[name]Roxanna[/name] Crowe
[name]Eloise[/name] Crowe*
[name]Georgiana[/name] Crowe*
[name]Vivian[/name] Crowe*

I love the suggestion of [name]Genevieve[/name] Crowe! The [name]Gen[/name]/[name]Gennie[/name] nn can be easily avoided. [name]Evie[/name], [name]Vivi[/name] and [name]Genna[/name] are other possibilty

Thanks everyone for suggestions and input!

I agree, longer names work better (my dilemma is avoiding nicknames that downgrade the long beautiful name) and I also agree hard Cs are not ideal, though I think [name]Caroline[/name] Crowe is a good exception! I also agree [name]Kaia[/name] Crowe is a bit “jarring” - good description. I have to say, as much as I love some great K names, I don’t like the K and C combo.

I love [name]Genevieve[/name], [name]Eloise[/name], [name]Caroline[/name], [name]Annabel[/name], and [name]Alexandra[/name]!

Thanks again!

my last name starts w/ a C too and i’ve always thought that a K first name would be cool so they could have a nickname K.C. from the initials but a lot of people have commented that they dont care for that and say that C.C. looks cuter… i’m still not sure how i feel about alliterations tho.

[name]Anwen[/name] [name]Rowena[/name] Crowe - so Celtic!
[name]Cecily[/name] [name]Jane[/name] Crowe
[name]Gwyneth[/name] [name]Jacqueline[/name] Crowe - love!

[name]Luella[/name] [name]Josephine[/name] Crowe - love!
[name]Matilda[/name] [name]Edith[/name] Crowe
[name]Penelope[/name] [name]Iris[/name] Crowe - love!
[name]Penelope[/name] [name]Jane[/name] Crowe
[name]Vivienne[/name] [name]Ruby[/name] Crowe - love!

[name]Love[/name] the Celtic option! That’s out my box, fresh!
