Susannah or Susanna?

Either is fine. I prefer [name_f]Susanna[/name_f], because the h feels chalky to me.

Thank you all for the great feedback! It’s really interesting to see people feel so strongly about [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] or [name_f]Susanna[/name_f]! I feel confident going with [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] if we do choose that name!

It’s also funny that some people compared the spelling issue to Katherine/Catherine. [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] is my middle name and a name we’ve toyed around with using, but I’ve been hesitant because of spelling variations (I know people who are [name_f]Katherine[/name_f], [name_f]Catherine[/name_f], [name_f]Kathryn[/name_f], and Cathryn). It’s a bit of a back up option, but I may consider it more seriously now!

I prefer [name_f]Susannah[/name_f]! I agree that it looks more balanced, but both spellings are lush and soft. I love the nn “Suki” or “Sukey” for [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] too :sunflower::womans_hat:

I prefer [name_f]Susanna[/name_f], but my niece is [name_f]Susannah[/name_f]. She hasn’t mentioned any spelling problems.

I definitely prefer [name_f]Susanna[/name_f]. The h feels unnecessary and biblical/old-fashioned. [name_f]Susanna[/name_f] feels much more satisfying visually and it’s fresher and modern
