[name_m]Just[/name_m] curious if anyone has any suggestions as to how to incorporate “[name_f]Swan[/name_f]” into a middle name. I think the name on its own may be a tad too bold and the related name “[name_f]Swanhilde[/name_f]” is not a favourite for me. I’ve also thought of Swanson, but this does sound as more of a surname as opposed to a middle.
If anyone has ideas, I’d love to hear so I can add this to my list. Thanks so much!
I like the idea of Swanson, surnamey names are trendy right now and it’s refreshingly unheard of. Some other ideas:
Swanna
[name_f]Swanhild[/name_f]/Swanahild/[name_f]Swanilde[/name_f]/[name_f]Swanilda[/name_f]
Svanhildr
Hong (Chinese name that can mean swan according to behindthename.com)
Svana
I don’t know whether it’s the word [name_f]Swan[/name_f] specifically that you want to incorporate or just a connection to [name_f]Swan[/name_f]. If it’s the latter, then [name_f]Odette[/name_f] or [name_f]Odile[/name_f] (from the ballet [name_f]Swan[/name_f] [name_u]Lake[/name_u]) would be lovely choices in the middle.
[name_m]How[/name_m] about coupling it with another name, like [name_f]Swan[/name_f]-[name_f]Ivy[/name_f], [name_f]Swan[/name_f]-[name_f]Joy[/name_f], [name_f]Hannah[/name_f]-[name_f]Swan[/name_f], [name_f]Swan[/name_f]-[name_f]Daisy[/name_f]…
Thank you all for your feedback - I love the idea of [name_f]Swan[/name_f] on its own, I’m definitely warming up to this. I also didn’t consider pairing it with another name before, but like this idea as well
[name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_f]Leda[/name_f]? [name_f]Leda[/name_f] was a Greek beauty who was seduced by [name_m]Zeus[/name_m] who appeared to her as a swan. [name_m]Don[/name_m]'t know if links are allowed here but you can read more about this myth on Wiki!
