A bit of a juxtaposition here, but it seems I’ve noticed a pattern of me liking names that either look or sound “sweet and simple” yet still feel “strong and sturdy.”
On the other hand I also love a good deal of names that are longer and I like them particularly because they seem to look a bit more elegant. But I’d like to explore the “sweet and simple yet strong and sturdy” angle and see if a list based on that might spark some inspiration.

I’m digging [name_u]Amos[/name_u] and [name_m]Hugh[/name_m]. Several I really like on this list that have been taken by people we know, but sweet names I love.
[name_u]Amos[/name_u] and [name_u]Callahan[/name_u] are two I’ve considered. [name_m]Iver[/name_m] is interesting to me. 
Our surname ends in -er, so not sure if it would jive well, but something about it intrigues me. I like that it is a bit unexpected, at least where we are.

[name_m]Vincent[/name_m], [name_m]Reuben[/name_m], and [name_m]Cedric[/name_m] have all bouncer around my list. I’ll have to research a few of these others and see if I find myself falling for any of them.
