[name_f]My[/name_f] DD2 is due in [name_f]September[/name_f] and after a lot of consideration we have almost certainly decided on [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f].
Can I ask you if you think it goes with DD1, [name_f]Neve[/name_f] (pronunciation Neev)? And ideas for a mn? I think We should steer clear of mn starting with ‘a’ because it will make [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] sound like [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f]. We have a double barrelled surname beginning with A ( 3 syllables) first then W (2 syllables).
I think [name_f]Neve[/name_f] and [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] sound great as sisters! [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_f]Luna[/name_f] and [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f] are my favorite from your list.
Thank you all! I really love [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] too.
Some other thoughts I’ve had are:
[name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_f]Ramona[/name_f]
[name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_f]Jade[/name_f]
[name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_u]Lou[/name_u]
[name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_f]Eloise[/name_f]
I think [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] and [name_f]Neve[/name_f] are adorable together! [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f] and [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_f]Camille[/name_f] would get my vote. I’m using [name_m]Anderson[/name_m]-[name_u]Walker[/name_u] as a stand-in surname–I think [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_m]Anderson[/name_m]-[name_u]Walker[/name_u] sounds amazing! [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_f]Camille[/name_f] is nearly as good; I’m just a huge [name_f]Iris[/name_f] fan. I think [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f] is amazing.
[name_f]My[/name_f] favourite middles you’ve picked are definitely [name_f]Iris[/name_f] and [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] by a longshot! So pretty I don’t know that [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] flows easily though with the double E sounds but they are different E sounds
I am quite fond of [name_f]Iris[/name_f]. Aside from being adorable, this baby is our “rainbow” baby, as our last one was stillborn. It would definitely make the name more meaningful if we included the rainbow reference.
[name_f]Neve[/name_f] and [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] are fine together. I think [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_f]Luna[/name_f], [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f], [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] are gorgeous.
I think [name_f]Neve[/name_f] and [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] are lovely together.
If you like [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f], I suggest [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_f]Maeve[/name_f]. [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] is very Irish, which I think further connects little [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] to her very Irish named big sister.
I love [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_f]Valentina[/name_f], but with a 5-syllable last name it’s probably too much. [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f], [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f], and [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_f]Camille[/name_f] are my other favorites from your list!
I know it’s been a while since you posted this and I’m sure you had your girl by now, but I just had to say hi. I found this chain while searching the name [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f].
First of all, I am so sorry for your loss. I know your pain. My firstborn, a daughter, was stillborn in [name_u]August[/name_u]. We named her [name_f]Hattie[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f], but actually [name_f]Neve[/name_f] was a very close second. I hope to have a [name_f]Neve[/name_f] and a [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] someday too. Such beautiful names
