Sylvie Renard

Hi all, I’m new here to the boards but I’ve been lurking for awhile.

I’m in the process of writing a short story about a French spy in 1943 occupied [name]Paris[/name]. I’ve started calling her [name]Sylvie[/name] [name]Renard[/name] and I’m just looking for opinions on it.

[name]Sylvie[/name] is a twenty-three year old singer turned spy. The story starts with her finding out that she’s been discovered as a spy and pretty much has to flee the country. She’s a brave, strong female character, who has to use her own brains to survive. She’s got honey brown hair and light brown eyes and has a fairly average build.

Her last name is the French word for fox, which I see as kind a sly, stealthy animal, but I’m not sure if I should use that or a different last name.

Any opinions would be great! Thanks!

I think that [name]Sylvie[/name] [name]Renard[/name] is a spot on for the character at hand. On reading her name in the title, I pictured a vintage spy/stealthy archetype, so good going.

I second that!

I think [name]Sylvie[/name] [name]Renard[/name] is perfect for your character! As I read your description, I couldn’t help thinking that’s exactly what a [name]Sylvie[/name] [name]Renard[/name] should be like.

Good luck!

Thanks everyone for the reassurance! I’ll keep her name as is!
