I knew a [name]Talia[/name], I really liked the name, and it worked well on her. I don’t think anyone ever teased her about it either.
[name]How[/name] are you saying it? I personally say it like Tall-ia and I would have never gotten genitalia out of that in a million years, so I don’t see that being an issue. I love the meaning as well 
What about [name]Dahlia[/name] as an alternative to it?
I know a [name]Talia[/name] too, and it’s pronounced tal-ya. She’s never been teased about her name as far as I know.
[name]Hi[/name]! I like it, but I prefer it spell like [name]Talia[/name] or [name]Thalia[/name]. It is not my favourite name, but I think it has a big potential like a middle name, for example I think that [name]Ariadne[/name] [name]Thalia[/name]/[name]Talia[/name] is a cute choice, I also like Ainara [name]Thalia[/name] and [name]Rosalie[/name] [name]Thalia[/name].

I love that name and am considering using [name]Talia[/name] myself. I’ve known many Talias through Jewish summer camp and yes we teased a few but maybe I was a mean girl. Actualy I think it was a girl names [name]Jenn[/name] we called JENitalia. I like the name as short for [name]Natalia[/name] or Naphtalia.
[name]Tahlia[/name] is pretty! I personally prefer [name]Thalia[/name], but both are lovely.
I doubt the genitalia thing would be a problem–my sister is [name]Natalie[/name] (nn [name]Tallie[/name]–not quite [name]Talia[/name], but close, and I’ve called her [name]Talia[/name] on occasion!), and she’s never had a problem with it. Someone posted on another baby name site, though about how one of her friends had a baby and named her [name]Jenna[/name]-[name]Talia[/name]… As long as you don’t use [name]Jenna[/name] as a FN, I think you’re fine!

I think it’s pretty and not close to genitalia at all! However it immediately makes me think of Batman - there is a character called [name]Talia[/name] al ghul, she is [name]Ra[/name]'s al ghul’s daughter and has a child with Batman, but I’m a geek so most people probably won’t think of this.
I really like the name [name]Thalia[/name], but I prefer it spelled [name]Thalia[/name]. I didn’t realize it had such a great meaning! Also, she was one of the 3 Greek graces and the Greek muse of Comedy.
