Usually I’d find a name like this quite sweet however there’s a department where I work called [name_f]TALA[/name_f] (I think it stands for Tone And Legal something) so unfortunately that’s all I can think of!

I think it would be a difficult name, as most people have never heard of it.

Cute-sounding and easy to spell and pronounce! [name_f]Tala[/name_f] sounds like someone sweet and kind.
The only issue is that it’d probably get misspelled as [name_f]Talia[/name_f] quite a bit, but if you don’t think that’s too much of a problem then go for it! Other than the nicknames already suggested, there’s [name_u]Allie[/name_u] and [name_m]Ty[/name_m] (pronounced like tie)

My main association is att tala, as in the infinitive form in Swedish of the verb ‘to speak/talk’, so ‘tala’ is used quite a lot obviously in Swedish. That doesn’t need to bother you as such, since it’s an innocent and even beautiful verb in both sound and meaning (similar to how you describe pronouncing it) if you think about it, but I I thought I’d best put it out there if it is something that could bother you. If I think of it as a name on a person, then I actually think of a cheerful upbeat [name_f]Indian[/name_f] girl.
