[name_f]My[/name_f] husband just told me he likes the name [name_m]Dominic[/name_m]. [name_f]My[/name_f] mom likes it too and tried to talk me into it when I was pregnant. I tried to consider it but its not a favorite. [name_f]My[/name_f] husband is so picky about names though so the fact that he likes [name_m]Dominic[/name_m] does make me take pause.
What do you think of [name_m]Dominic[/name_m] and maybe middle name suggestions that might me consider it. Sometimes the right middle name with a first name I feel meh about really makes me change my mind. [name_m]Even[/name_m] though I know middle names are hardly used, in my mind I like knowing the full name and it gives me an appreciation.
I still really vote for [name_m]Lachlan[/name_m] and I just don’t think [name_m]Dominic[/name_m] will ever be a [name_m]Lachlan[/name_m] to me but I’m trying to be open. We do have a son, [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] [name_u]Reese[/name_u]. Thank you.
I like [name_m]Dominic[/name_m]! It’s a classic, everyone knows how to spell it and pronounce it, it’s an international name with accessible nicknames like [name_m]Dom[/name_m] and [name_u]Nick[/name_u]. I also prefer it over [name_m]Lachlan[/name_m], and I think it’s a better match to [name_u]Elliott[/name_u].
[name_m]Dominic[/name_m] is solid and strong but underused. It has cool nickname options (Dom, [name_m]Donny[/name_m], [name_m]Mick[/name_m], [name_u]Nick[/name_u], [name_u]Nico[/name_u], Domino) and I can see it with [name_u]Elliott[/name_u].
I have to be honest though that I still don’t love it as a favorite. But hearing nice opinions about it does make me warm up to it more and more. I like the feedback that it goes with [name_u]Elliott[/name_u].
I love the name [name_m]Dominic[/name_m]! There’s great nick names like dom, nico, nick etc. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you like any of these way to spell it better? [name_m]Dominick[/name_m] or [name_u]Dominik[/name_u]? I like it because it works for kids and adults.
[name_m]Dominic[/name_m] [name_u]Lawrence[/name_u] or [name_m]Dominic[/name_m] [name_m]Rhett[/name_m] are also pretty handsome. It is a name that goes with a lot of my favorite middles so that is a plus. So hard to decide! I really am intrigued by [name_m]Dominic[/name_m] [name_m]Lachlan[/name_m]. I hadn’t thought about that and it would be a great compromise. [name_m]Lachlan[/name_m] [name_m]Dominic[/name_m] doesn’t have the same ring to it.
It’s one of those beautiful, classic names that will never have issues! Everyone will know how to spell/pronounce it and [name_m]Dom[/name_m] & [name_u]Nic[/name_u] are nice nicknames! Considering that it’s biblical, it’s also a very international name.
I really like [name_m]Dominic[/name_m]! I think of it as a boyish but masculine name that could fit any kind of guy. And I agree that [name_m]Dominic[/name_m] [name_m]Lachlan[/name_m] is a great choice, unless you think you’d have another son in the future and want to use [name_m]Lachlan[/name_m] then.
I already have one child so I would only have one more. Im kinda hoping for a girl but I obsess about boy names more because they seriously stress me out. I have my girl name already decided on. Boy names are always ever changing and completely up in the air. We had a boy and I was like wow what do I name him? We ultimately agreed on [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] [name_u]Reese[/name_u]. Husband didn’t go for [name_m]Lachlan[/name_m] in the past. I still really like [name_m]Lachlan[/name_m] though. Its one of those that I like more and more as time goes by. Another one we almost went with is [name_m]Marshall[/name_m]. I still love the meaning of the name but I just can’t picture our child with that name now. [name_m]Dominic[/name_m] is one my husband and mom like. Im like meh but I figured it was worth exploring and asking this community about!
