Both are fun and sweet names ( and happen to be 2 of the daughters of [name_f]Demi[/name_f] [name_m]Moore[/name_m].)

It’s ok, but as a previous poster said, [name_f]Demi[/name_f] [name_m]Moore[/name_m] and [name_m]Bruce[/name_m] [name_m]Willis[/name_m] have daughters names [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] and [name_u]Scout[/name_u], so that’s what I think of first.

I’d assume you’re a huge fan of [name_m]Bruce[/name_m] & [name_f]Demi[/name_f]. The two names are so different that they clash- lithe, feminine [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] with abrupt, masculine [name_u]Scout[/name_u].

[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] is the most common spelling

I had no idea about [name_m]Bruce[/name_m] or [name_f]Demi[/name_f] [name_m]Moore[/name_m], is it a bad association? I don’t keep up with celebrities or anything… :frowning:

[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] [name_u]Scout[/name_u] is lovely. I like the somewhat frilly and feminine [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] with the short, non-nonsense and masculine-leaning [name_u]Scout[/name_u].

As for the [name_m]Bruce[/name_m] & [name_f]Demi[/name_f] thing - it was only when others mentioned it that I actually remembered. I don’t think it’s necessarily a bad association though, and in years to come I’m sure it will no longer be as strong. Not all people follow celebrities and/or celebrity baby names, afterall.

After [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] Bankhead & [name_u]Scout[/name_u] [name_u]Finch[/name_u], the [name_m]Willis[/name_m] Sisters are the biggest association people have. It’s not about “following celebs” because I surely don’t. [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] is one of my top names and I hear 'like [name_f]Demi[/name_f] [name_m]Moore[/name_m]‘s daughter?’ more than I hear ‘like [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] Bankhead?’ Maybe you’re too young to remember but their names were a hot topic, and not just among name nerds or the celeb obsessed. Everyone wasn’t using unique names the way they are now so [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] & [name_u]Scout[/name_u] were a big deal. Neither name has been used enough to weaken this association & you using them together makes it even stronger. If you don’t mind then that’s fine, but just know that that is a very strong association. On the plus side, people usually don’t use their mn so she’ll mainly be just [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] and won’t have to deal with too many [name_m]Willis[/name_m] [name_f]Sister[/name_f] comments.

I thought of [name_m]Bruce[/name_m] and [name_f]Demi[/name_f] immediately, but that may just be my age
However, I don’t really like the combo. It sounds, to me, both dated and “try hard”, sorry! I do like [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] as a name and [name_u]Scout[/name_u] is a very cute nickname, but I feel the same way about [name_u]Scout[/name_u] as I do about [name_f]Cricket[/name_f] or [name_f]Busy[/name_f] - they are nicknames that should ideally just “happen”, not be forced - that’s where I feel the “try hard” element comes into it.
