Talullah

What are your opinions on [name_f]Talullah[/name_f]?
What is your preferred spelling?

It’s gorgeous! I know a Talulah that goes by [name_u]Tully[/name_u] and it’s so chic without being frilly. I’d say that ‘Talulah’ is my preferred spelling but maybe just because it’s familiar to me.

I love [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] (and I think that’s my fave spelling). It’s so lively, I love the flow and the meaning too!! It would definitely be higher on my list of it wasn’t so similar to my cousin’s name!

I really like [name_f]Talullah[/name_f]! I love that it has both Irish and Choctaw origins, depending on which spelling you use. I think [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] is the most recognisable spelling, but I quite like [name_f]Talulla[/name_f], too.

Oops, double post!

Oh, I didn’t know that different spelling have different heritage and meanings :o
[name_m]Will[/name_m] have to look at that.

As far as I know, that’s the case. I’m just going on what behind the name says.

I absolutely love [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] (my preferred spelling)! She’s such a fun, bright name with so much energy and personality. I enjoy just saying [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f].

[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] is my favourite spelling, and I think it’s a beautiful, lively name choice! I’ve often adored [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f], but S/O’s not a fan. Might sneak it in as a MN somewhere though, like [name_u]Chelsea[/name_u] [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f]

[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] is also my favourite spelling, but if you prefer [name_f]Talullah[/name_f] then go for it! I love this name so much

I too know a [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] who goes by [name_u]Tully[/name_u]! Its one of my favorite girls names. I also like the nickname [name_f]Lula[/name_f]

I love [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f]! It’s beautiful and unique! Seems boho to me but in a good way. I like the nature vibe and especially the nn [name_f]Lula[/name_f]!

I really prefer [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f], because it’s the most familiar to me as an American. If I were in the UK, I might be more familiar with [name_f]Talulla[/name_f], so I don’t think it necessarily matters that much. I like it, I think [name_u]Tully[/name_u] and [name_f]Lula[/name_f] are cute nicknames for either spelling, but it does feel just a teensy bit frilly. However, I think it can be balanced by a middle name or surname, and I’d like to see it used more.

So sweet!

It’s spunky, girly, unique yet not too complicated. I prefer the [name_f]Tallula[/name_f] spelling, but I think that [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] is more common.

I would spell it [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f], as in Bankhead. I think it’s a lovely name, with a young, springy sound. And I’d love for my name to be [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f], just so that I could sign it in cursive!

Thank you for all the replies <3 So helpful!

[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] is my favourite spelling, and I love it! I know a little girl called [name_f]Talullah[/name_f] (this spelling) and she is the quirkiest little girl who is a little firecracker and I think she matches the name so well.

I like [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] esp since I heard of an adorable 3 yr old girl with this name while her nickname (not intended…her Uncle dubbed her) [name_f]Tulip[/name_f]!
