We’re expecting our second baby (another girl) and I love the name [name_u]Tate[/name_u]. My husband doesn’t like it paired with our last name which is also single syllable. He says he likes it as a nickname for a longer name though. Can anyone think of a name that can be shortened to [name_u]Tate[/name_u] (other than [name_u]Tatum[/name_u])?
I have always liked [name_u]Tatum[/name_u] - for either boy or girl.
[name_f]Tatiana[/name_f], of course. 
I was going to suggest [name_f]Tatiana[/name_f] too - gorgeous name!

What about [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] or [name_u]Stacey[/name_u]? [name_f]Tamsin[/name_f], [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] or [name_f]Katarina[/name_f] are a bit of a stretch since it’s a “tah” sound rather than “tay” but could work too.
[name_f]Cantata[/name_f] is pretty! I was going to say [name_f]Tatiana[/name_f] too.
