Teenberries: would anyone be keen to be "name pals?"

I saw a thread like this on NB once before, but I tried to track it down and couldn’t. So I thought I’d give it a shot and start my own thread.

Would anyone like to be “name pals”? Like pen pals, sort of? We could exchange name lists, combos, helpful commentary, and basically everything you can already do on NB, except it would be one-on-one (through email, I was thinking). This is aimed mostly at other teenberries, and I thought it would be a fun way to connect through a common interest. If anyone’s interested feel free to PM me :slight_smile:

I still have all of the contact info for everyone who submitted a name pal request form last time, as well as a document detailing who was matched with who. It sort of fell apart when I did it (does anyone still talk to their name pal?), but hopefully you will have better luck.

I would love to be a name pal. I can send my email by PM. It would be so much fun to have someone to talk names with!

I#d love to do this but also just through NB’s PMs (which would be easier for me anyway as I don’t check my e-mail as often).

I would love to do this! Such a fantastic idea - I’m sorry to hear that it fell apart last time. Emailing would probably be the best option for me - I’m a bit hopeless checking my PM’s on here. :slight_smile:

My initial thought was that I would rather not give out my email online, but if it was over PM I think it might be okay. Anyway, NB is considerably safer than most internet communities. That’s a good idea about creating a new email for this especially, but I don’t think I’d be very reliable about checking it. Any other ideas?

I’ve never actually used NB’s PMs before, so I don’t know how that would go.

I’d love to do this, but PMs aren’t good for me, as I don’t plan on coming on here a whole lot anymore while I’m prepping for university and whatnot, but anyone can PM me for my KIK, email, Twitter, whatever, haha

I would thorough e-mail or PM I had a name pal but I never really contacted them but would be willing to try again at it.

@skyesime98 was my name pal, but she hasn’t been on here in a while. So anyone looking for a name pal, just PM. I’d love to have another name pal; it was so much fun!

My only thing is this-- I’d like to have a name-pal that has a similar style to me. I’m not very much into the frilly classics— [name_f]Leonora[/name_f], [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f], [name_f]Henrietta[/name_f], Etc. So I wouldn’t be partial when judging their names. I think we should pick name partners by the style in someone’s sig :slight_smile:

If it’s not too late I’d love to join in! The only time I get to decently talk about names is in these forums, but they don’t really count because it’s rather impersonal :stuck_out_tongue:

It’s hard to describe my style, since I don’t really have one. And I have too many favourite names to fit in my signature!
Anyway, I like names that aren’t too over the top mostly (Nothing like [name_m]Arrow[/name_m], [name_f]Khaleesi[/name_f], [name_u]Pepper[/name_u], [name_m]Shooter[/name_m], etc. ) but I do have exceptions, such as: [name_m]Blade[/name_m], [name_m]Rocket[/name_m], [name_f]Flower[/name_f], [name_f]Honey[/name_f], [name_f]Rainbow[/name_f], etc.

I don’t like really old fashioned names. I like mostly modern names. I’m biased to girl names for reasons I can’t figure out. Boy names, there’s just not many I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u].
