SO many lovely names that are right up my alley :sob: I love the style!!! So refined and academic sounding — stunning names all around!

I love how the British use any name they like. Nothing seems off limits, and the name combinations (first and middle) don’t necessarily flow. But they’re brilliant!

I love the Telegraph announcements! I wish I were brave enough to use some of these, especially the girls; [name_f]Pear[/name_f], [name_u]Loveday[/name_u], [name_u]Christmas[/name_u] and [name_f]Muse[/name_f] are amazing!

Christmas

I think this must be a family surname, because I checked the birth date and it was sometime mid-summer, so not a [name_u]Christmas[/name_u] baby (or conception! :flushed:)

So fun!!

Interesting! [name_u]Christmas[/name_u] would be so cool to have as a surname!

I know a family of Christmases! They went to my mum’s playgroup, back when she worked in early years. She used to “let” me write all the name labels at the start of the year (she was probably thrilled someone else wanted to do it!) :joy:

It’s one of those names you hear or read and it always puts you in a merry mood!

Here are my favorites:

Boy names

Cosmo Anthony Raphael Hannay (This is brilliant!)
Edmund John Lysander
Arthur Jack Hereward
Barnaby Franco Sacheverell (I suppose that the “ch” in Sacherevell is pronounced like the one in [name_u]Sheridan[/name_u]. Anyway, this combo is daring and wonderful! And I love seeing [name_m]Franco[/name_m] being used.)
Archibald William Lovelace
Constantine Evelio Ernest
Ralph Valentine
Alexander Basil Sylvester

Girl names

Bluebell Matilda Poppy
Elba Pear Rosemary
Arabella Fflur
Zelda Mai Loveday (I remember seeing her birth announcement, swooning over her name!)
Florence Margot Balfour (I saw this one, too :yellow_heart:)
Thea Loveday Annis
Ottilie Leonora Rose Delap (I LOVE [name_f]Ottilie[/name_f] [name_f]Leonora[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f], but Delap somehow ruins it for me.)
Coco Florence
Delphine Esther Violet
Lua Harkness (I remember this one too :heart_decoration:)
Florence Penelope Christmas
Eliza Poppy Adorian
Georgiana Galbraith Louise (This one has to be my absolute favorite :revolving_hearts: :revolving_hearts: :revolving_hearts:)
Ebba Aurora Daphne
Ida Sybil Daisy

Sibsets

ALL of them, but if I had to pick favorites from each kind of sibsets (all-girl, all-boy & mixed), they would be Charbel, [name_f]Aimée[/name_f] & [name_f]Noura[/name_f]; [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m], [name_u]Francis[/name_u], [name_m]Edmund[/name_m], [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m] & [name_m]Fabian[/name_m]; and [name_m]Augustus[/name_m], [name_f]Willa[/name_f] & [name_f]Maud[/name_f]. I also love [name_u]Teddy[/name_u], [name_f]Posy[/name_f] & [name_f]Antigone[/name_f].

Twins

[name_m]Frederick[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u] & [name_m]Oscar[/name_m] [name_m]Albert[/name_m]
