Tell me about your side characters

Hey all, I have a book series in which the basis of the tales are about how everyone has a story. I have a side character who’s a bit antagonistic, and I’ll share in the comments. But I want to hear about a side character you have that makes the story what it is.

[name_f]My[/name_f] lovely side character is a black and white cat, it’s a world of talking animals, and her name is [name_u]Domino[/name_u]. [name_u]Domino[/name_u] was raised on a farm in rural [name_f]Canada[/name_f] with her older sister, 5 younger sisters and an adopted brother. She was raised catholic and quite racist/homophobic. All she ever wanted to do was run the farm. This all changed when their city was attacked by demons and her older sister had the brilliant idea to build a home far away for everyone. Her sister built a home where angels and demons could be friends, but forgot about [name_u]Domino[/name_u]. [name_u]Domino[/name_u] resented her sister and tried her best to go home, destroying a wagon of supplies, burning a house down and causing a tunnel to collapse. She is no good person, but when the tunnel collapsed and her younger sister got hurt, she ran away. She joined the army to repent for her sins and worked her way up as a commander. She had three kids and worked to change her life. Without [name_u]Domino[/name_u] trying to go back to her farm, her sister never would have been able to build her dreams. It was working through the little problems her sister presented that got them through storms.

That’s such a cool idea!

[name_f]My[/name_f] main character is from a very wealthy family, and one of the side characters is her lady-in-waiting, [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] [name_u]Rowan[/name_u]. [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] was raised by the owners of a small bookshop in the city. The bookshop was starting to go under, so [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] decided to get a job at a young age to help keep the shop afloat and managed to secure a position as the MC’s lady-in-waiting. Felicity’s background with books led her to share the MC’s love for reading and encourage the MC to follow her dreams–even though that might mean [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] would lose her job. Her actions play a major part in kicking off the story as a whole.
