A friend just had her third child, and her son remains nameless. I though you guys could help her, and I’ll email the replies to her as she’s very busy as you can imagine and she wants outside opinions. She has a daughter [name]Thalia[/name] [name]Grace[/name], son [name]Phineas[/name] [name]James[/name] and the new baby is a boy. middle name will be [name]Lucien[/name] meaning light as this is their rainbow baby.
So far they’ve narrowed it down to these names.
[name]Alistair[/name] [name]Lucien[/name]
[name]Arthur[/name] [name]Lucien[/name]
[name]Henry[/name] [name]Lucien[/name]
[name]Noah[/name] [name]Lucien[/name]
I think [name]Alistair[/name] is the best fit with [name]Thalia[/name] and [name]Phineas[/name], but [name]Alistair[/name] [name]Lucien[/name] reads a bit like the villain in a novel about witches and warlocks. [name]Phineas[/name] and [name]Henry[/name] have too many similar sounds, so I would go with [name]Arthur[/name] or [name]Noah[/name].
[name]Arthur[/name] [name]Lucien[/name] is great on its own and when paired with [name]Phineas[/name] and [name]Thalia[/name]. [name]Henry[/name] would be my second pick.
Thank you guys. I’m emailed them to her, and she said to say thanks. It’s between [name]Arthur[/name] and [name]Henry[/name] now but she hasn’t narrowed it down completely.
[name]Ah[/name] rats, I really wanted her to go with [name]Alistair[/name], but between [name]Arthur[/name] and [name]Henry[/name] I definitely prefer [name]Henry[/name] even though it’s sort of common. [name]Arthur[/name] just really doesn’t sound great to my ears and even the mythological associations don’t trump the total boring nerd I see when I hear the name [name]Arthur[/name].
I think [name]Arthur[/name] is probably the best fit, but I love [name]Henry[/name]… So [name]Henry[/name] gets my vote. But they have both beautiful regal names fit for a baby king!
