Another movie that I absolutely loved as a child is The [name_u]Baby[/name_u]-Sitters Club. I would watch it pretty much everyday. These are some names I found that have to do with the movie. [name_m]Feel[/name_m] free to leave any other names, or any comments on the names, in the comments!
[name_f]Ann[/name_f] - [name_f]Ann[/name_f] M. [name_m]Martin[/name_m] is the author of the books The [name_u]Baby[/name_u]-Sitter Club.
[name_f]Kristy[/name_f] - This is the main character of the movie. [name_f]Kristy[/name_f] is a great nickname for [name_f]Kristin[/name_f] or any other name similar to [name_f]Kristin[/name_f].
[name_u]Stacey[/name_u] - This is the name of the character who loves to shop and is from [name_m]New[/name_m] [name_m]York[/name_m]. She was my absolute favorite character in the movie. I always thought her name was spelled like [name_u]Stacy[/name_u], but when I figured out that it’s spelled [name_u]Stacey[/name_u], I fell in love the with this name. [name_u]Stacy[/name_u] is also the name of the actress who plays [name_f]Mallory[/name_f] in the movie ([name_u]Stacy[/name_u] [name_f]Linn[/name_f] Ramsower).
[name_f]Dawn[/name_f] - It might actually be a tie when it comes to my favorite characters, because [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] was who I wanted to be like. She was obsessed with making the earth a better place, & she was a vegetarian (possibly vegan?). I think her name fits her great. Whenever I think of the name “[name_f]Dawn[/name_f]” I always think of this character. However, this name is not one of my favorites.
[name_f]Mary[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f] - This is the character that’s most like me - shy & reserved. I don’t like these names by themselves, but together as a first name I find it to be a sweet name.
[name_f]Claudia[/name_f] - This is the artsy character who has to go to summer school because she failed science. I’ve always had a connection with this character since I am artsy myself. I’ve also been loving the name [name_f]Claudia[/name_f] lately.
[name_f]Jessi[/name_f] - [name_f]Jessi[/name_f] is the dancer in the movie. “Why walk when you can dance?” I never really liked this name but I think it would be a good nickname for [name_f]Jessica[/name_f].
[name_f]Mallory[/name_f] - She was the writer in the movie. I think this is definitely a spunky name.
[name_f]Rosie[/name_f] - [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] is the little girl who [name_u]Stacey[/name_u] always babysits in the movie. I think it’s an adorable name, but I think it would better as a nickname.
[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] - [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is the name of [name_f]Kristy[/name_f]'s mother.
[name_f]Margarite[/name_f] - [name_f]Margarite[/name_f], better known as Cokie, was the mean girl & the leader of her group in the movie. The name [name_f]Margarite[/name_f] reminds me of a more girly version of [name_f]Margaret[/name_f]. As for Cokie, I think it’s an interesting “nickname” to say the least.
[name_f]Bebe[/name_f] - This is the name of one of Cokie’s followers. The name is alright but it reminds me of a designer or expensive brand.
[name_f]Grace[/name_f] - [name_f]Grace[/name_f] is the other followers of Cokie’s group. The name [name_f]Grace[/name_f] is such an elegant name to me.
[name_f]Suzi[/name_f] - “[name_f]Suzi[/name_f], what are you doing in there?” “Shavingggg!” This is the name of the little girl who I’m pretty sure has a brother, who asks the girls if they can get in for one since [name_f]Suzi[/name_f] is so little. I think this a great nickname, but I think it’s only good as a nickname.
[name_f]Emily[/name_f] - You can’t forget Ms. Haberman aka [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] & [name_f]Mary[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f]'s neighbor. She tried to get the girl’s permit taken away because of a stink bomb that was slung over to her garden. In the end, the girls gave the greenhouse that they found to Ms. Haberman & gave her a bunch of flowers to fill up the greenhouse with.
[name_u]Schuyler[/name_u] - This is the name of the actress who plays [name_f]Kristy[/name_f]. I think this name is such an intersting name. I think it could possibly be a gender neutral name. So far this is the only person who I think of when the name [name_u]Schuyler[/name_u] comes to mind.
[name_f]Bre[/name_f] - [name_f]Bre[/name_f] [name_u]Blair[/name_u] is name of the actress who plays [name_u]Stacey[/name_u]. [name_f]Bre[/name_f] is such a feminine name and I love it. Although, I would spell it her way because [name_f]Brie[/name_f] would remind me of the cheese, brie.
[name_u]Blair[/name_u] - [name_u]Blair[/name_u] is on here because her last name is a gender neutral first name. I love the name [name_u]Blair[/name_u], especially after watching Gossip Girl.
[name_f]Rachael[/name_f] - [name_f]Rachael[/name_f] [name_u]Leigh[/name_u] Cook plays [name_f]Mary[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f] in the movie. I think this is an interesting spelling of the name & if I were to ever use the name on a child, I would use this spelling to make it different.
[name_u]Leigh[/name_u] - [name_u]Leigh[/name_u] is on here because of [name_f]Rachael[/name_f] [name_u]Leigh[/name_u] Cook. I like the name [name_u]Leigh[/name_u] alright, but the name (not spelling) too gender neutral for me.
[name_f]Larisa[/name_f] - [name_f]Larisa[/name_f] Oleynik plays [name_f]Dawn[/name_f]. I love the name [name_f]Larisa[/name_f]. It’s like an alternative name for the name [name_f]Marissa[/name_f].
[name_f]Tricia[/name_f] - [name_f]Tricia[/name_f] [name_m]Joe[/name_m] plays [name_f]Claudia[/name_f]. The name [name_f]Tricia[/name_f] reminds me of the 90s or 80s, so if you’re looking for an 80s or 90s name, I would recommend this!
[name_f]Zelda[/name_f] - [name_f]Zelda[/name_f] [name_m]Harris[/name_m] is the actress who plays [name_f]Jessi[/name_f]. I don’t see this name as much. It reminds me of a space-themed kind of name for some reason.
[name_f]Vanessa[/name_f] - [name_f]Vanessa[/name_f] Zima plays [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] in the movie.
