  • Philip gets a one-on-one date with Britta. He makes a complete fool out of himself in front of her on this date.

Week 5

  • All of the remaining contestants, Ambrose, Lip, Danny, Ross, and Yusuf, go on the group date this week. She gives the group-date rose to Yusuf again this week, and he is once again safe from the Rose Ceremony.
  • She decides to go on a one-on-one date with Ross this week. He gets a rose and is safe from the Rose Ceremony this week.

Week 8: Finale

In the season finale, Britta decides to choose Yusuf. Although she claimed it was a hard decision, the signs were there all along. Yusuf ends up proposing to her during the finale, and Britta says yes. Her and Yusuf decide to move to Manchester after the show. Due to Ronan and Yusuf’s appearances on this season, there is a lot of tension within Please Be Naked, leading to the band’s breakup within a year of this Bachelor season finale, but due to Yusuf’s newfound fame in the US as well as the UK, he pivots to a very successful career as a singer and producer for major British acts. They go on to get married at Holkham Hall in Norfolk, a wedding that is considered by many publications to be the wedding of the year due to its high-profile couple and guests in attendance. Britta continues her career as an Emergency Psychiatrist, and the Ajami family goes on to have five kids, Zelda Fayruz Ajami, Axel Nadim Ajami, Ramona Ilham Ajami, Echo Shula Ajami, and Kit Zulaykha Ajami.

During their date, he reveals that he is a single father to a 6-year-old daughter, [name_f]Evie[/name_f] Chun, and a 3-year-old daughter, [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_m]Ah[/name_m] Lam. He also reveals that he has custody of his daughters after leaving an abusive situation with his ex-fiancée, [name_f]Vanessa[/name_f]. She ends up having a wonderful conversation with him as he breaks out of his shell with her and he explains how he’s very introverted and hasn’t had the chance to get to know her one-on-one, since every date he’s been on previously has been a group date. She appreciates his honesty, and his love for animals, and gives him a [name_f]Rose[/name_f] at the end of the date.

Week 7: Final Dates:

  • On her final one-on-one date with [name_m]Paul[/name_m], [name_f]Andie[/name_f] and [name_m]Paul[/name_m] both open up about very personal stories. Still touched by his honesty and sincerity with her throughout the season, she opens up about her previous marriage, and reveals she left for similar reasons [name_m]Paul[/name_m] left his ex-fiancée, as well as her feelings of being caught in-between two identities as an Asian-American. In return, [name_m]Paul[/name_m] opens up about his childhood in [name_f]Hong[/name_f] Kong, and his family’s immigration to the UK when he was a teenager.
  • On her final one-on-one date with [name_m]Victor[/name_m], [name_m]Victor[/name_m] tells [name_f]Andie[/name_f] that he is considering marriage someday.
  • On her final one-on-one date with [name_m]Angus[/name_m], [name_m]Angus[/name_m] asks [name_f]Andie[/name_f] what she thought of his family. She answers truthfully, saying that she enjoyed her time with them, but is very worried about the press hounding both of them, whether because of their status as reality television stars, Andie’s success as a skincare company owner, or Angus’s cult following with Evenings in [name_f]America[/name_f].

Week 8: Finale:

Despite Angus’s strong impressions, [name_f]Andie[/name_f] decides to choose [name_m]Paul[/name_m] in the end. [name_m]Even[/name_m] though she loves Evenings in [name_f]America[/name_f] and had the choice of one of her favorite musicians, she went with her heart and chose the incredibly tenderhearted and strong [name_m]Paul[/name_m]. She was thoroughly impressed by his honesty with her from the very beginning, and his willingness to open up to her about his struggles in life despite hardly knowing her. In truth, it had been a long time since she had someone to do that with, and she truly saw herself able to open up to [name_m]Paul[/name_m] about anything by the end of the season. As a surprise, the production has flown out his family for the finale, and his daughters help him propose to [name_f]Andie[/name_f], of which she tearfully (happy tears of course) accepts. There is not a dry eye in the audience - even [name_m]Angus[/name_m] is shedding a few tears of happiness for the couple by the end.

They get married within a few months of the season finale at Whirlow [name_m]Brook[/name_m] [name_m]Hall[/name_m] in [name_m]Sheffield[/name_m]. Following in the steps of [name_m]Leon[/name_m] and [name_f]Chelsea[/name_f] Tepete, Andie’s very-close friends and the winning couple of The [name_m]Bachelor[/name_m] season that [name_f]Andie[/name_f] was on, [name_m]Paul[/name_m] and [name_f]Andie[/name_f] decide to go with a very small and intimate fairytale wedding. The Tepetes and [name_m]Angus[/name_m] are the only two The [name_m]Bachelor[/name_m]-universe alumni invited. [name_f]Chelsea[/name_f] is one of Andie’s bridesmaids, and [name_m]Angus[/name_m] plays a special set for [name_m]Paul[/name_m] and [name_f]Andie[/name_f] at the wedding with the rest of his Evenings in [name_f]America[/name_f] bandmates. The fans of Evenings in [name_f]America[/name_f] still talk about this wedding set, and speculate what songs were on it, since [name_m]Paul[/name_m] and [name_f]Andie[/name_f] surprisingly had a no cell-phone policy at their wedding. It is a truly beautiful ceremony - and of course, there are two flower girls because [name_m]Paul[/name_m] and [name_f]Andie[/name_f] couldn’t just choose one of his daughters.

After the wedding, [name_m]Paul[/name_m] gets offered a job at the A&E at the Manchester [name_m]Royal[/name_m] Infirmary, one of the busiest A&Es in the entire UK. The family moves to Manchester (which is luckily only an hour from [name_m]Sheffield[/name_m], so [name_f]Evie[/name_f] and [name_f]Jane[/name_f] won’t be too far away from their grandparents), and much to Paul’s surprise, one of his new co-workers at the A&E is [name_f]Britta[/name_f] (Hann) Ajami, a past Bachelorette from a few seasons before the Shums, and an Emergency Psychiatrist at that A&E. Through this connection, and the couples’ shared experiences as reality television stars in the US, the Ajamis and the Shums grow very close (through which [name_m]Angus[/name_m] meets [name_m]Yusuf[/name_m] right at the exact time that Evenings in [name_f]America[/name_f] is looking for a new bassist - [name_m]Yusuf[/name_m] has now produced and been the bassist for Evenings in [name_f]America[/name_f]’s last two award-winning and critically acclaimed albums, and is helping write their upcoming album with [name_m]Blake[/name_m] [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] and Eiko Matsuura from Andie’s The [name_m]Bachelor[/name_m] season - EVERYONE IS ALWAYS CONNECTED).

As for [name_f]Andie[/name_f], she ends up moving Pure [name_f]Seoul[/name_f] to Manchester, and after her contract with Ulta expires, she ends up getting a contract to sell Pure [name_f]Seoul[/name_f] skincare as a Boots-exclusive brand (the American fans are still very disappointed by that). [name_m]Paul[/name_m] and [name_f]Andie[/name_f] find out soon after the wedding that [name_f]Andie[/name_f] is expecting quadruplets nonetheless. In an homage to the couple’s intersecting identities (with [name_f]Andie[/name_f] being Korean-American and [name_m]Paul[/name_m] being British-Chinese) their quadruplets’ names are [name_m]Harry[/name_m] Zixin Gyeong Shum, [name_f]Ada[/name_f] Jiayi Myung-Ok Shum, [name_m]Garth[/name_m] Hui-Fen Ryung Shum, and [name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_m]Genji[/name_m] Hae-Won Shum. And somehow, despite their careers, newfound fame, and now six children, [name_m]Paul[/name_m] and [name_f]Andie[/name_f] find time to create the [name_f]Sincerity[/name_f] Is Scary Initiative, a domestic abuse awareness foundation, after being open about their own experiences with domestic violence on their season. To this day, they are still one of the top-Bachelor universe couples of all-time, and fan favorites around the world.

[name_m]Ciaran[/name_m] (Ennis, Ireland): It seems like the day went pleasantly but [name_m]Ciaran[/name_m] becomes very closed off emotionally and acting insecure because of his job.

Surprisingly, [name_m]Yonas[/name_m] is eliminated.

Week 7-Final Dates:

[name_m]Callum[/name_m]: She tells him that she didn’t actually expect to fall for him but he’s always stuck around.
[name_m]Niko[/name_m]: He tells [name_f]Selina[/name_f] that he loves her.
[name_m]Ciaran[/name_m]: He asks what she thought of her family. She thought they were lovely but can understand that there are many cultural differences.

At the finale, she chooses [name_m]Callum[/name_m]. He says he’s not ready to propose and she agrees. They are still together for a year after the premiere but break up shortly after.
