Hello. [name_m]New[/name_m] here and [name_m]Ive[/name_m] recently fallen in love with the nickname “cas”… I first heard it on a little boy called [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] and I can’t decide which “cas” name I like the best…
[ul]
I like [name_m]Cassian[/name_m], [name_m]Cassius[/name_m] & [name_m]Cassiel[/name_m] the best but tween the three, my favorite is [name_m]Cassius[/name_m]. There is also [name_m]Casimir[/name_m] (to destroy peace). The meaning may not be so great & many people dislike it for that reason but I really like that one too.
I like them all. I have a cat named [name_m]Caspian[/name_m]. When we were trying to find a name for him, someone suggested [name_m]Casper[/name_m] as he is white like the friendly ghost. We looked the name up and found other names starting with [name_m]Cas[/name_m]-. We were drawn to [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] as my husband was reminded of [name_m]Prince[/name_m] [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] from the Chronicles of [name_f]Narnia[/name_f]. I liked [name_m]Casimir[/name_m] too. I read that it is a Polish [name_u]Royal[/name_u] name.
[name_m]Caspian[/name_m] and [name_m]Casper[/name_m] in that order, I prefer the meaning of [name_m]Casper[/name_m] but I can’t get past the friendly ghost association.
[name_m]Caspian[/name_m] will always be my choice. Strong, handsome, adventurous, energetic, gorgeous sound, great associations (and a cool literary one to boot) unusual and different, ages well. The list goes on and on. I absolutely love and completely adore [name_m]Caspian[/name_m]!
I love most of the [name_m]Cas[/name_m]- names, too. My favorite, by far, is [name_m]Casper[/name_m], but I like [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] and [name_m]Castiel[/name_m] a lot, too, and I can appreciate [name_m]Casimir[/name_m]. [name_m]Cassian[/name_m], [name_m]Cassius[/name_m], and [name_m]Cassiel[/name_m] are all nice names, but I prefer them with the [name_m]CASH[/name_m] pronunciation instead of the [name_f]Cassie[/name_f]- one (at least for [name_m]Cassian[/name_m] and [name_m]Cassius[/name_m]), but it seems like I’m in the minority there, and I’m afraid it’d always be mispronounced.
I also like [name_m]Cas[/name_m] names a lot!
[name_m]Casper[/name_m] - I don’t like the [name_m]Casper[/name_m] the cartoon ghost association and the double spelling [name_m]Casper[/name_m]/[name_m]Caspar[/name_m].
[name_m]Caspian[/name_m] - Probably my favorite. [name_u]Love[/name_u] the sound! It always makes me think of a little prince.
[name_m]Cassian[/name_m] - I don’t know why but it more of a girly vibe to me
[name_m]Cassius[/name_m] - Really classy and ellegant. However, I think there are two different pronounciations ([name_u]Cass[/name_u]-ius and [name_m]Cash[/name_m]-ius)
[name_m]Cassiel[/name_m] - I like it. It has a beautiful meaning. I don’t think it is as “strong” as the others, tho.
