Year 3: A strong storm affects the area we live in. We have a lot of damage to our roof and garden.

Year 5: Some of my hours are cut. We’re okay, we’d love to add more children to our family so it’s luckily not that bad as we expected.

Year 7: We win the lottery! We use part of the money to redo our house. We get a new kitchen and bathroom.

Year 10: Few years ago we enlisted ourself for adoption. This year it’s our turn! We adopt a sibling set of four locally. Year 11: I partake in a radio contest and win an all-expenses paid trip for the whole family! This year’s summer we enjoy our amazing cruise without any worry.

Year One

Year Three
[name_m]Tobias[/name_m] suffers a stroke which leaves him permanently disabled on his left side. Through hard work and physiotherapy, he is able to retrain his body and adapts to walking on crutches, meaning he can go back to work.

[name_f]Annika[/name_f] gets a promotion so the family move to a bigger house! This means that they can move out of their top floor flat, making life easier for [name_m]Tobias[/name_m], and lets the twins have their own bedrooms.

Year [name_m]Five[/name_m]
Although he enjoys it, [name_m]Tobias[/name_m] is finding teaching more and more difficult. He decides to go back to school and retrain as a therapist for children after seeing how many children are often affected by mental health difficulties or traumatic events but have no help.

Year Six
[name_f]Annika[/name_f] gives birth to a little girl whom they name [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f].

Year [name_u]Seven[/name_u]
[name_m]Tobias[/name_m] and [name_f]Annika[/name_f] appear on Mr. & Mrs. and win the top prize of £5,000 and a couples’ holiday to the Maldives! They decide to put £500 each in the children’s savings accounts, put £1000 away in case of an emergency, then use the remaining money to redecorate their house.

Year Eight
[name_m]Tobias[/name_m]’s father dies suddenly after a heart attack whilst at work. The family are very shocked as there were no symptoms or signs that anything was wrong since [name_m]Tobias[/name_m]’s father was a healthy and fit man.

Year Ten
[name_m]Tobias[/name_m]’s mother moves into the home as she is lonely following her husband’s death and is struggling to cope as she gets older. She helps to care for the children whilst [name_m]Tobias[/name_m] and [name_f]Annika[/name_f] are at work and takes over most of the housework.

The family decide to take a holiday to Disneyland [name_u]California[/name_u]! It’s a long flight from their [name_u]London[/name_u] home to Anaheim and the children get cranky, especially little [name_f]Sophia[/name_f], but the joy on their faces when they see [name_u]Mickey[/name_u] Mouse for the first time makes everything worth the stress.

Year Twelve

Year Five: Alexa decides to leave her job as a real estate agent and go to journalism school, because she no longer enjoys her job. She finishes after 2 years and gets a job for a newspaper.

Year Seven: Unfortunately, Alexa’s mother, Katherine, passes away, but fortunately, she left us a large inheritance! We put the money in the kids’ college funds, and let the kids each pick out something they want.

Year Eight: Poet gets diagnosed with osteosarcoma. Everyone is very upset, but we are determined to do whatever we can to help him. We end up having to amputate his left arm, but he seems to be on the path to recovery.

Year Nine: We adopt a Yorkshire Terrier named Elvis. He was supposed to be Avery’s dog, but he loves Tilda best.

Year Ten: We give birth to triplets, two boys and a girl. Their names are Oliver Zachary “Olly”, Sawyer Ambrose (b), and Beatrice Maud “Bee”. Olly looks like Luciano with his dark hair and brown eyes, Bee shares Alexa’s blond hair and green eyes, and Sawyer is somewhat in between, with carmel-brown hair and hazel eyes.

Year Eleven: The twins start college at UCLA! Tilda gets a soccer scholarship and is studying chemistry, and Poet gets a partial scholarship to study creative writing.

Year Twelve: Luciano’s sister got divorced from her abusive husband. She was so upset that she turned to alcohol. It was no longer safe for her 6-year-old to live with her, so we adopted her. Her name is Catalina Maria.

2013-Year Three: Family negatively affected by an illness or natural disaster. A minor [name_m]Typhoon[/name_m] hits the area. All family survive but extended family is forced to evacuate and temporarily live with the family.

2014-Year [name_u]Four[/name_u]: Family moves to a new place! The family’s current residence is no longer suitable, so they decide to move! Why? The typhoon did eventually destroy the family home, so they temporarily move to a smaller home with plans to move into a better place later. 2015-Year [name_m]Five[/name_m]: Family affected by someone’s change of career! The family moves to a new location because of a change in job! 2017-Year [name_u]Seven[/name_u]: Family positively affected by a financial event–what does your family do with the money? 2018-Year Eight: Something bad happens! What happens and how does the family respond? Trouble in a relationship! [name_f]Jekaterina[/name_f], now 23, was engaged to her boyfriend but the engagement was broken off. The family comforts her and she takes years of time off before dating again.
