After 3 years of marriage, we welcome triplets! After 5 years of marriage, we got to experience the joys of hand, foot, and mouth disease! With 3 toddlers in daycare, it was bound to happen. While the kids passed it around amongst themeselves, both mom and dad got their turns, too, and at least one or two of us were sick for over a month straight.

After 6 years of marriage, our family moves back to the midwest. Our growing kids need more space, and we missed the slower pace of life. We packed up and moved from Oregon back to [name_m]Nate[/name_m]'s hometown in Minnesota!

After 7 years of marriage, [name_f]Stella[/name_f] lost her office job due to downsizing. Instead of looking for a new job, she decided to try to turn her side hustle of selling upcycled/handcrafted children’s clothes into a full-time gig.

After 8 years of marriage, [name_f]Stella[/name_f]'s mom comes to live with the family! With [name_f]Stella[/name_f] working from home, she could use help with the house and kids, and now that Grandma [name_u]Dana[/name_u] is retired, she is excited to devote more time to the family.

After 9 years of marriage, [name_m]Nate[/name_m] got a significant pay raise! While we will use most of the money to build our savings and pay off our mortgage more quickly, we also treated ourselves and the kids to their first big vacation - at Disney World!

After 12 years of marriage, our family is growing again, though through difficult circumstances. We have adopted our godsons who were orphaned when both of their parents died within the span of six months. It has been a challenging transition for everyone, expecially the kids, but we are committed to making sure these boys still get to have a childhood.

After 13 years of marriage, our family is settling into a routine. [name_m]Nate[/name_m] taught both [name_m]Judah[/name_m] and [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] to play chess, and [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] in particular is proving to be prodigious at it! [name_m]Nate[/name_m] took him to a kids’ tournament, and [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] really held his own. We hope he continues to pursue this passion.

After 14 years of marriage, we hosted an exchange student for the entirety of the spring school semester.
