The name Bojack...?

It’s a name from DBZ. I like it a lot, what do you berries think? Everyone wants a longer version of [name]Jack[/name].

I don’t know what DBZ is, but Bojack is awful. Sorry. :frowning:

Bojack? I’ve been trying, but I’m sorry to say I don’t see an upside.
Plus [name]Jack[/name] is a nn for [name]John[/name]. There are great longer versions of [name]John[/name] and [name]Jack[/name] like [name]Johannes[/name] and [name]Jackson[/name].
Bojack just doesn’t seem up to par.

I like [name]Bo[/name] and I like [name]Jack[/name], but I don’t like Bojack. I have a passing familiarity with Dragonball Z, but I’m not familiar with that particular character. I just Googed him and it says that he’s a villain. It also says that his name is “derived from the Japanese word b”jakubujin, which means ‘arrogance’ or ‘audacity.’” I can’t say that I’m a fan or that I think it would be a good idea to use it.

Horrrrendous. The fact its derived from “arrogance” is also bad. Not every character name makes a good real life name sorry!

For a pet? Maybe. On a child? Doesn’t seem like a good idea; not because Bojack was a villain, but because it’s a very odd and obscure thing to name someone after. Though this could be seen as good or bad, depending on how you look at it. It would certainly be unique, and chances are he’d never run into another Bojack. At the same time, chances are you don’t want your son to stick out like a sore thumb.

[name]Just[/name] based on how the name sounds, to me, Bojack makes me think of casinos and pirates. (The former being its similar sound to blackjack, the latter from the character’s appearance: baggy pants and a bandanna.)

Yuck…

Blehk!!!

What the hell.

No. Never.

Absolutely not

I like [name]Bo[/name], and I like [name]Jack[/name]. I like the idea of Bojack in theory. In application, not so much.
