The name Susannah

I had my daughter, [name_f]Susanna[/name_f], in [name_f]April[/name_f] and I can’t tell you how many compliments I get about her name. When I gave birth, the nurses in the hospital were so excited about it because most had never had a [name_f]Susanna[/name_f] before! People tell me all the time how refreshing it is to meet a [name_f]Susanna[/name_f].

When I was pregnant, we intended to call her [name_f]Zuzu[/name_f], but ended up calling her Suz. There are lots of nickname options which I loved about her name!

We loved it because it was classic without being popular. We also loved the meaning “lily” because she was a spring baby born right before [name_f]Easter[/name_f]. If you love [name_f]Susannah[/name_f], go for it!

It’s darling and classic but totally underused and underrated. I’d go for it!

I’m team [name_f]Susannah[/name_f], I prefer the H spelling because it is more old fashioned but either way. Many names that we grew up hearing are totally off the map now so I think they’re due for a revival. Other similars from my list to consider
