"The popular friendly pretty girl" type names?

OK, so I worked out what sort of names I like for girls… LOL
“The popular friendly pretty girl” type names. (Oh, and thanks [name]Lori[/name], you made me realise this is what I think of when I pick names).
You know that type of girl?
The one who is in dance classes, the one who boys chase in high school, the one who seems to attract a crowd of friends without even trying, the one who despite being popular is also a decent friend, the girl who is naturally pretty but not especially vein, the one who has a ready smile and giggles with people, an all round nice popular girl. (Not a [name]Regina[/name] [name]George[/name] type!)

What name/s fits that image to you?

[name]Rebecca[/name]!

But you basically just described my little sister, lol, so that’s why I instantly thought of it. That, and the nn [name]Becca[/name] just seems to fit that vibe to me, very pretty but not vein at all and everyone adores her.

I think of a lot of popular names right now that way, as well–well, the softer ones:

[name]Isabelle[/name] (or [name]Isabella[/name])
[name]Olivia[/name]
[name]Sophie[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name]
[name]Elise[/name]
[name]Hannah[/name]
[name]Claire[/name]/[name]Clara[/name]
[name]Juliana[/name]
[name]Liliana[/name]/[name]Lily[/name]/[name]Lillian[/name]

ha. Half of my list, I suppose. I guess that’s why I really love [name]Isabelle[/name] and [name]Olivia[/name], lol.

For what it’s worth, I really see [name]Erin[/name] fitting in, too, but then again, [name]Becca[/name]'s best friend is an [name]Erin[/name], and she pretty much fits the description you gave, too.

Good luck!

[name]Poppy[/name]
[name]Grace[/name]
[name]Lucy[/name]
[name]Olivia[/name]
[name]Ellie[/name]
[name]Harriet[/name]
[name]Eva[/name]
[name]Jessica[/name]
[name]Sophia[/name]
[name]Madeline[/name]

I have honestly never met a “nice popular girl,” all the popular girls I knew were jerks… so these might not be your style…

[name]Brittany[/name]/[name]Brittney[/name]
[name]Summer[/name]/[name]Sumer[/name]
[name]Stefanie[/name]/[name]Stephanie[/name]
[name]Bridget[/name]
[name]Courtney[/name]
[name]Penny[/name]
[name]Cadence[/name]/Kaydance
[name]Ashley[/name]
[name]Ashlyn[/name]
[name]Rachel[/name]
[name]Mandy[/name]
[name]Veronica[/name]
[name]Brianna[/name]
[name]Erica[/name]/[name]Erika[/name]
[name]Lexi[/name]
[name]Alexis[/name]
[name]Miranda[/name]
[name]Chelsea[/name]
[name]Alyssa[/name]

I think this “style” can vary depending on who you know. I think people you know will change everyone’s opinion on which names fit into this category. For me…

I also think this style is going to end with a vowel. Vowels tend to soften names up, making them feel flowy and happy.

[name]Lucy[/name]
[name]Natalie[/name]
[name]Cassidy[/name]
[name]Amelia[/name]
[name]Maisie[/name]
[name]Louisa[/name]
[name]Felicity[/name]
[name]Molly[/name]
[name]Daisy[/name]
[name]Luna[/name]
[name]Delaney[/name]

[name]Summer[/name]
[name]Lauren[/name]
[name]Lucy[/name]
[name]Quinn[/name]
[name]Alicia[/name]
[name]Chloe[/name]
[name]Julia[/name]
[name]Hayley[/name]
[name]Allie[/name]
[name]Madison[/name]
[name]Jordan[/name]
[name]Emily[/name]

Not sure if thats what you’re looking for but hopefully it was helpful

[name]Sophie[/name] is a name I keep coming back to.
[name]Isabelle[/name] is very pretty, will have to run it past DH.
[name]Charlotte[/name] is “the” mn we want, the whole family love the name so much I wonder if perhaps it is destined as the FN.
[name]Elise[/name]- I have been fancying [name]Eloise[/name] nn [name]Lou[/name] [name]Lou[/name]
[name]Claire[/name] is on our possible mn list- [name]Brooke[/name] and [name]Claire[/name]… hmm?
Can’t have ‘a’ ending names with our LN. Sadly [name]Rebecca[/name] ends in ‘a’, which is a shame because it does fit the bill.
[name]Erin[/name] has that same feel to me too.

Oh, and BTW [name]Brooke[/name] is that exact type of girl too.
Sometimes I wonder if her name made her that girl.

Sadly ‘a’ ending names are off the list due to out last name.
[name]Madeline[/name] is a favourite of ours! [name]Brooke[/name] loves [name]Maddison[/name] nn [name]Maddie[/name].
I have considered [name]Grace[/name]. [name]Brooke[/name] and [name]Grace[/name]…?

These names have all made our list at some stage.
[name]Brooke[/name] was almost [name]Brianna[/name] [name]Eloise[/name].
If you met my DD you would meet that girl- she is a delight, not a mean bone in her body- not a “mean girls” type at all. I have met a few, but they are indeed not often kind hearted as well. [name]Brooke[/name] matched our DD so well- we say she is a babbling [name]Brooke[/name] as she is so bubbly!

Wow, interesting list. A few that have been on and off the list over the years ([name]Mollie[/name], [name]Amelia[/name], [name]Felicity[/name], [name]Natalie[/name]).
The name [name]Delaney[/name] caught my eye after I saw a berry with a daughter called [name]Delaney[/name] [name]Brooke[/name].
[name]Louisa[/name]- [name]Eloise[/name] is currently top of the list with [name]Phoebe[/name].

Awww… ((sad face)) [name]Chloe[/name]. [name]Chloe[/name] was my #1 choice to match with [name]Brooke[/name]. But it is soooo sooo popular I have tried to give it up.
[name]Brooke[/name] adore [name]Maddison[/name]- she often tries to convince me to choose [name]Maddison[/name] nn [name]Maddie[/name].
[name]Lauren[/name] is on my list too.
It’s amazing how people have suggested the same sort of name I thought of.
[name]Jordan[/name]… hmmm will think about that one. I have only known 3 [name]Jordan[/name]'s- two were males, 1 female. So I associate a bit more as a boy name. But I do like the name. Hmmm will keep thinking that one over.
[name]Lucy[/name] as appeared a few times now- my second cousin is [name]Lucy[/name]- the image of long cotton skirt and socks with sandal and a French Horn pops into my mind so I am afraid the name is forever linked to an old fashioned weird young woman for me.

[name]How[/name] about [name]Abby[/name]? [name]Abigail[/name]

Anything in the top 10 should do. Popular names for popular girls.

I think you should do some self examination on why it is important for your daughter to be a member of the “in-crowd”, just to be sure that you don’t have your priorities out of order.

I believe a name can help facilitate social acceptance. Social acceptance within the group is the cornerstone of the concept of society.
I see no point saddling them with something that might hinder acceptance.

I can think of [name]Alice[/name], [name]Sonnet[/name] and [name]Ottaline[/name] off the top of my head.

[name]Emilie[/name], [name]Gina[/name], [name]Caitlin[/name], [name]Rachel[/name], [name]Ashley[/name],[name]Mikayla[/name].

I would first like to remind you that choosing your child’s future is hard. You might like [name]Adelaide[/name] ([name]Adele[/name]) or maybe [name]Cadence[/name]. Thassla, hazel, piper, lacy, [name]Zadie[/name], [name]Mersades[/name] ([name]Sadie[/name]), [name]Avalon[/name], [name]Thalia[/name], [name]Calliope/name, [name]Bianca[/name], [name]Jazmine/name, [name]Francesca[/name], [name]Carly[/name], [name]Heidi[/name], [name]Dawn[/name], [name]Selena[/name] or [name]Selene[/name], [name]Charolette/name, [name]Cara[/name], [name]Xia[/name], [name]Amari[/name], [name]Thorne[/name], or [name]Grace[/name]. Good luck!

My best friend in grade 8 and 9 was just like that, minus the dance classes, she was an awesome dancer though. Her name was [name]Nadia[/name].

[name]Alessandra[/name] fits that description imo as well.
[name]Alexandrie[/name]
[name]Katerina[/name]
