What’s your take on Vision as a girl name?

- It’s a Biblical, hymnal, and ethereal word.
- It’s a funky word that I wouldn’t really think of as a name.
- It’s a Marvel superhero.
- It’s more masculine than feminine.
- It’s playful and spirited.
- It’s peaceful and serene.
- It’s harsh and confusing.
- It’s dreamy and imaginative.

Do any of these thoughts (my worries about this lovely name that I adore) ring true for you?
- It’s weird to name a kid after a word for “sight.” What if the kid’s born with poor sight? Or none at all?
- It’s weird to name a kid after a male superhero if the kid’s born a girl.
- Vision is too out-there to wear. A Starbucks barista and a substitute teacher would be puzzled over a name like that.

- It’s pretty to name a child after a word meaning to imagine and a vivid, fanciful image or the experience of dreaming.
- It’s cool to name a child after a meaningful word to the namer.
- Names connected to pop culture are fun.
- “V” names are sharp and spunky. If “V” is an important letter to a namer, a “V” name is a cool connection to have.
