To elaborate on it not affecting my decisions: I’m a very practical person (in certain areas of life) who takes making combos probably too seriously 
and my main concern when making them is how well they verbally flow together, so my color associations with names rarely enter my mind during that time. Not that they don’t matter to me, just that my practical side typically takes over and I don’t think of them as predominantly.
