Clara pronounced as Claira: Is it possible in Australia?
I know the typical pronunciation of Clara in Australia is Claaar-uh (more like Clawr-uh to you Americans but not exactly), but Iā€™ve been really loving the Claira pronunciation lately.
Clara is not a common name here, but a lot of Clara-adjacent names are, namely Lara, Tara, Mara, Cara which are all pronounced in the typically Australian way of saying Clara.
So, is Clara pronounced as Claira achievable in Australia?

Iā€™ve never met a [name_f]Clara[/name_f] pronounced claira (Iā€™m Australian) and honestly I think it would be quite difficult as people would almost always say claara and sheā€™d always be correcting people.

[name_u]Holly[/name_u] goes better with [name_u]Conner[/name_u] but [name_f]Merrily[/name_f] goes better with [name_f]Elsbeth[/name_f], if Iā€™m being completely honest [name_u]Conner[/name_u] just doesnā€™t go with any of them even if it was for a boy. I went with [name_f]Merrily[/name_f] just cause I prefer it
